This Amazingly private 800 sq ft cabin / cottage inspired guest house is located above our detached garage. Ample off street parking with private entrance. The property is full of natural sunlight with amazing views through all the windows high above Gro Tonka Park. Wide open floor plan! Listen to the birds and enjoy the sounds of nature. Go for a walk or stay in ...65" TV with high speed internet, (internet programming including hulu, netflix, roku, Disney+!, pandora and many more aps) large comfy leather chair and couch, heated bathroom floors, rainwater shower head with tub, forced air heat and ICE Cold Air Conditioning , fully stocked kitchen with settings for 6 people, including cookware. New pillowtop Queen matress with comfy white linens and down comforter. For additional guest...Two fresh sleeping bags and double high self inflatable queen air mattress with extra pillows are also provided. The bedroom features dresser, nightstand, ceiling fan light on remote. Stocke coffee station. Large desk area. Grill. Outdoor couch and table. The views and sunlight that pours in makes you feel like you are up north. It will comfortably sleep 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children +. There is a Queen bed, double high queen air matress, and large 9’ couch. The property is located right on Gro Tonka park, and an easy 3 block walk to Lakewinds grocery store and many dining options for delivery or easy commute. The front of the new garage is painted black with cedar trim ..modern cabin. :). Ample offstreet parking for 2 cars on left hand side of driveway. Lyft and uber drivers are also close by and timely for visitors without a car. It is also just 3 blocks to Lake Minnetonka beach, Libbs lake beach and Grays Bay boat launch..including many great hiking and biking trails. Walk or bike right from here to access many great trails. It is tucked away in a quite neighborhood but yet an easy drive to freeways or walk to downtown Wayzata. We are 2 blocks south of the Grays Bay boat launch and Beach in Wayzata.

Come stay this season and enjoy privacy, fishing, hiking, ice skating rink and sledding in back yard park, direct access to snowmobiling trails, great hiking, and much more

This was the perfect place for our little getaway. The cabin is cozy with just enough space for two people to be completely comfortable. The bed was super comfy, and we loved curling up on the couch to watch TV as well. Nice location with lots to do in the immediate area. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location! Host responded quickly to questions prior to arrival and during out stay. The booking description indicated a king bed, however upon arrival we found it was a queen bed, which was disappointing. There was not enough ground coffee left from the previous guest to make a full pot of coffee.

Unfortunately, we found the property had several issues. The 65” tv was unplugged on arrival and did not work when plugged in. When the owner came to troubleshoot, he brought a 40” tv with him so I believe he knew it was not functioning. Other items included a queen bed advertised as king, smoke detectors without batteries ( in an over garage apartment), overflowing garbage and a mini split that dripped so much water that we had over an inch in a large pan that we dumped regularly. There is minimal cooking/eating utensils so plan accordingly or eat out. The neighborhood is the saving grace and backs to a great park.

The cabin is exactly as shown, but the details made all of the difference.There was never a shortage of hot water, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the view of a park from the deck was wonderful. We were lucky enough to see a deer, a rabbit and some very cute squirrels during our stay.Loved the entire area and the location is extremely close to everything we wanted to do.We would love to stay there again if the cabin is available on our next trip to Minnesota!

Lovely location, cute cottage, comforts of home

Check-in was super simple, the location is great, quiet, beautiful neighborhood. The cottage is stocked with the basics. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen had the basics to cook while staying there. While we were missing an item, the owner/host was able to respond and provide it in a timely manner. I would stay here again.

Very nice place. Quiet for sure!

Really nice stay. Only suggestions would be that it needs a light outside garage to see in dark. Could have been a bit cleaner. A bit uneasy about the loose tiles in the bathroom. A little bit of small fixes and this will be an exceptional place!

The apartment above the garage was spacious, well appointed, clean and incredibly comfortable. My only complaint is with myself for not checking out what kind of mattress and pillows they had so I could get one for my home bed. Great stay

Wonderful stay in upstairs rental. Nice cabin style decorating, comfortable king bed. Enjoyed the balcony with view of park. The nearby park is a great place to walk the dog. Only drawback for us (aged 65+) is getting ourselves and luggage up the stairs.

Girls Weekend Getaway!!!

After having our pet sitter cancel on us at the last minute we needed to find a place that would accommodate our fur baby. We found this adorable, quaint cottage for myself, my two adult daughters, my mom and my daughter’s Australian shepherd, Faline!!! This place is spectacular, beautifully decorated, stocked with everything we needed!!! It’s also in a great location, we were there for the Renaissance Festival, and this place was a quick 20 minute drive for us to there!!! Also, our pup was a bit unsure of her new surroundings and did let our Host’s know by barking😬
our Host’s were great let us know she was upset, they us when she was done and reassured us that she was okay!!! Thank you for a great experience, highly recommend this place!!!

Getaway

Overall it was fine. We were disappointed however when we realized it was an apartment over a garage. It was presented as a cottage/cabin. The key to the apartment was not there so we couldn't lock it when we left. The deck is very small and overlooks a park but all you see is a dirt hockey rink. Met ine of the owners, she was nice. Nice apartment overall and a great bed and linens.
