Beautiful renovations to restore and modernize a historical building. Great location on the river. Wished to have had a river view room though instead of the Stokko Square garden area, whch is beautiful too.

It is a beautiful hotel and location. We enjoyed our stay. However our service in the restaurant was very slow on Saturday morning for breakfast. We were meeting with an old friend so it didn’t matter that we waited and visited but 15 mins to get even a glass water, and again for coffee!

Pros: Room was spacious and clean; hotel was quiet; restaurant was excellent. Cons: the WiFi was awful - took 10-15 minutes to connect and kept dropping at regular intervals. We also found ants in our bathroom.

Beautiful atmosphere, great service, excellent food, super comfortable rooms. I spent the night on my birthday there. The kind front desk staff had a gorgeous and delicious piece of dessert prepared and brought it up to my room along with a hand written, thoughtful card! Really enjoyed our stay here! The Studio King was such a unique room with vaulted ceilings and extra seating. We really enjoyed the onsite restaurant - excellent food and drinks! Will definitely be back.
