It was a very unpleasant experience. Upon check-out, we requested an invoice, which is standard practice at nearly all hotels, regardless of whether the booking was made through an online travel agency or directly with the property. However, the male cashier firmly refused, stating that since payment was made to Expedia, the hotel could not issue an invoice. He also declined to provide any documentation confirming our stay and instead advised us to "sue Expedia."
As we were traveling for business, a stamped invoice was essential for accounting purposes. We spent nearly 40 minutes trying to resolve the issue, and I came close to missing my flight. Eventually, another female cashier issued a booking confirmation, but the entire experience was extremely stressful and disappointing.
Despite the resolution, the lack of professionalism and courtesy left a lasting negative impression. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this property to colleagues or friends.
