Property was nice, staff was friendly, room was clean and furnished nicely. Dont try to check in early...the girl at the counter told us they would charge us $40 for 1 hour early checkin. Overall it was a good 2 night stay.

Was so excited to write a good review based on the accommodations and location. However, we were treated very poorly by a staff member named Vince who accused us of not paying a pet fee despite disclosing on arrival that we were traveling with a dog. He called me multiple times on my cell phone threatening he was going to report the incident to management despite me referring him back to my paperwork on arrival where I list that we have 1 dog. Very unprofessional and unkind.

Parking was convenient. The staff was very helpful. The pool and hot tub were great! The pool was well heated. The outside was nice with decorations, lights, and firepits. The bathrooms and kitchens seem old and the kitchen wasn't well lit. Overall, it was clean though.

It was ok

I wanted to take my husband for couple of days for his birthday with our small Yorkie. This is a pet friendly hotel it states “pet friendly “ however, there were signs in the courtyard for dog NOT to go on the grass. So, I took my dog at the parking area to do his thing. Also, the phone in the room did NOT work, no tone and the phone line did not work. The only good thing was that the hotel was close to fisherman’s wharf , beach and canary row. Also the hotel needs remodeling.

Nice Motel

Quiet clean motel with a lovely patio, seating and firepits. It was a nice place to star in Monterey, good room prices and easy to get to the Wharf and attractions.

Dated hotel but in an excellent location for a reasonable cost with excellent service. So if you don’t want to spend a bundle and don’t mind dated accommodations to be close to Fisherman’s Wharf, this Lodge is for you.
