Had an amazing time at the Renaissance. Came in town for my birthday weekend and they welcomed me with a beautiful note, cupcake and room upgrade. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location is perfect walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants. This was my first experience with this hotel and will definitely won't be the last. Thank you for making my birthday special.

Location - v good. Room ok, but lacking drawer/ shelf space for 2 people. Very dark - lighting poor, especially for putting on make up. Quilt was far too heavy & hot for 25-35°C temperature. Housekeeping was rather lax in making up our room. At least 2 occasions front desk was informed. Not done until after 4pm. Another occasion not until 8 pm. One day, insufficient staff meant a simple breakfast took an hour and a half. East had delicious food, but some portions were too much. Pleasant roof top bar.

Clear details on the exchange rate

I was not happy with the hotels.com advice. When I booked, they did not tell me or you did not tell me that it was in US dollars. When I reached the hotel, they would not change it or would not assist in trying to rectify the issue. Please next time inform your customers that it’s not in Canadian.m dollars, when quoting.
