Newly renovated 3 bedroom 2 bath cottage. All new furnishings and appliances Spring 2019. Enough parking to bring your boat and the landing is 1 block away. Enjoy Shem creeks famous restaurants and nightlife. There are 18 restaurants, 2 coffee shops and a beverage super store all just a short walk from your home away from home. With outdoor TV for those fall football games this home has much to offer. The beaches of Sullivans island and Isle of Palms are 10 and 12 minutes drive while historic Charleston is only 15 minutes away. Pet Friendly with a fenced in back yard you will not be disappointed. The owners are experienced and have four other units that are all next door to one another totaling 9 queen beds so plan ahead and bring a crowd. the sister listing numbers are 1078916, 877061, 876759 and 1661120.

The location of this rental is fantastic. It is tucked away from traffic but still gives easy access to Shem Creek as well as The Old Village. It was perfectly suited for three adults, and we enjoyed our stay.

The good: Location was great. Walking distance to Shem Creek restaurants. Short drive to downtown Charleston. The living room and dining room furniture was in good shape & comfy. The mattresses were quite comfy as well.The bad: The bedroom linens did not appear clean. They had dark spots on most of the sheets, (not sure what from) and found hair on the pillowcases. Most of the linens we found in the closets were the same, but we did find a set of new sheets that we were able to replace them with. Not fun to check in late in the evening and have to remake the beds.The backyard is quite small but didn't really care that much since we didn't have kids or dogs, but the patio furniture was rusted with stained and dirty cushions, also found the BBQ grill grates and burners were very rusty so we didn't use that either. Generally, the outdoor space was not very inviting.Overall, the experience was not terrible, but more attention to cleanliness would go a long way to making this a 4–5-star rental.

Shem Creek Cottage

We have stayed at this house a few times and the location never disappoints. Joe is a great host, super communicative and the house is great for our family. We walk to the marina, jet to the beach and can be in downtown Charleston within 15 mins. The neighborhood is so quiet and with walkable beer y dining and coffee 
 what is not to love?
