Beautiful resort and location. Unfortunately no ac in bedrooms meant sleeping was impossible as room was over 30 degrees. If you open windows you get mosquitoes in the room within minutes. We were told by reception that we could cancel our stay and receive a refund. Once we did this and booked alternative accommodation we were then told that there was no refund due to booking with Expedia. Not great communication or service. Beautiful resort but maybe avoid in the height of summer as too hot in bedrooms.

A relaxing location just outside of Rotorua. Family friendly with great facilities including board games, sports equipment and bike hire. Pricey during peak season but worth the money.

Overall the stay was not too great. The room smelled fishy when we entered, we had a problem with the lights in our room coming on by themselves in the middle of the night. the gym was not air conditioned so it was super hot. The upstairs in the room also did not have AC so it was pretty hot until late at night. There were also some dreadful bugs flying in swarms around the resort outside at night and in the morning. It was also a fair way away from town so in hindsight I would have booked a different place giving all the other issues.

Place was okay, advert said king size bed, it definitely wasn’t. The air conditioning is downstairs only, it was hot upstairs when trying to sleep. Good location, nice and quiet, but would not stay again if visiting Rotorua

Apartment 77 is clean with good amenities. Stairs to 1st floor bedrooms & only toilet might not be good for young kids & seniors. Unfenced jetty out the back. Scared to use washer & dryer as the provided towels smelt odd. Restaurant not open Mondays. Hot springs, geysers, mud pools, fast food & other restaurants back in town at least 12 mins away.

The lake view was very beautiful and peaceful. The unit was very clean, spacious and fully equipped. It was great for a family. The restaurant onsite was very good. The spa pool needed a good clean as it wasn't very inviting.
