We are located 14 miles outside of Munising, surrounded by the beautiful forests of the Upper Peninsula.

Quiet and secluded location allows for a relaxing stay, our lodge features 2 Bedrooms & 1 Bath,with fully equipped kitchen for you to cook your own meals or head to The Buckhorn Restaurant a short 3 minutes from your front door.

We can convert our 2 XL Twin Beds into a wonderful King size bed, just let us know what you prefer! Sleeps 4, but couch can be used for extra sleep space or bring air mattress for use in living room area if desired for extra guests.

Then get out and enjoy the areas many attractions located minutes away from Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore & Lake Superior, as well as downtown Munising, Autrain Beaches and numerous waterfalls throughout the area,Valley Spur Bike Trails network & Munising Bay Trail Network.

After your days adventures come back and relax, and be amazed by the
night time sky in perfect view for star gazing!!

Peaceful, Clean and Pet-Friendly Stay near Munising! We had a fantastic 5-night stay at this cozy little house in the woods, just 15 minutes from downtown Munising. The location was perfect- quiet, peaceful and surrounded by nature, yet still close to everything we wanted to do. The home was exceptionally clean and came with everything we needed- from kitchen essentials to a washer and dryer, which made our stay super convenient. The WiFi was strong and reliable the entire time, which was a nice bonus. The fenced-in porch was a huge plus for our dog, and we really appreciated how pet-friendly the space was. The host was wonderful- very communicative and thoughtful, providing anything we might have forgotten. We truly loved everything about our stay. We are already talking about coming back. Highly recommend!

Perfect place for us and our two dogs - comfortable, private and the location was great for the things we wanted to do. We only stayed two nights but the home set up so well could easily stay a week and have everything you needed. Great communication with the host!

The house is close to Munising with easy drives to all the Munising sights. It was a perfect place to stay for our weekend getaway. Very clean, with ample supplies. Beds were very comfortable and the shower had plenty of water and hot water.

This was a lovely getaway with a “middle of the woods” feel. Julie was so kind and accommodating to our request to add on an extra day. The check in process was easy and Julie’s home is nearby, so there is a strong sense of safety. She has thought of everything so the house felt well stocked and ready for guests. We would gladly stay here again!

Julie was very communicative--sending very clear instructions and responded very quickly to questions I had. It was an amazing location for the access to nature and Pictured Rocks, which is exactly what we were looking for. It is in the woods, so bugs are definitely around the house at night, but not an issue once we were prepared for it. The space was fully stocked for all of our needs with a full kitchen, two bedrooms, and a nice open layout between the dining and living room to hang out. It also stayed cool enough to not really need the a/c, which was great!
