Good, if on the expensive side

Hotel near town, but set back so quiet, able to sleep with window open. Pool (and spa?) included in price, but never got round to using them! Hotel is expensive for 3 stars, but maybe because there's not a lot of choice around Munster. Rooms look to have been recently renovated. Dinner was extortionate (looking at the menu) we ate in town. Overall, can recommend.

Beautiful town

The staff was exceptional. Breakfast was good. The room was very large for my family of four. The beds were average comfort-comparable to other European hotels. Slightly older but clean. We didn't get a chance to use pool but it looked nice. We enjoyed the park out back and loved visiting the Catholic Church and Christmas Market. It was a beautiful small town with a short ten minute drive the the larger and also beautiful Colmar.

Okay but beware its a lot larger than it looks

Broadly speaking the hotel is fine, but it is very large and therefore you do feel like you are staying in a factory. There is less courtesy as you are one of hundreds. This is really apparent at breakfast - the one day we took breakfast there were so many people milling around that it was just chaotic: no cutlery to find becuase they couldnt replenish it quickly enough, tureens of warm food completely empty for the last forty minutes of serving, etc. so you just feel like a bit like you are taken for granted. So we avoided breakfast the other days and went into town instead! Munster itself is pleasant and a great gateway to Alsace; beware that you will find it hard to eat there after about 9pm as restaurants are in short supply and seem to close early so book if you possibly can.

Séjour agréable

Agréable surprise (surclassé en suite junior pour avoir réservé une chambre supérieure) chambre très spacieuse et salle de bain également, rangements suffisants. Seuls bémols concernant la chambre le lit en 160 (préférence pour les 180 mais literie convenable). Les plus : personnel plutôt aimable (mention spéciale au barman), très beau restaurant et les espaces lounge ainsi que les extérieurs. Spa et piscine très bien équipés et agréables surtout aux heures creuses ! Petit dej très bien. Les moins : portes de chambres très abîmées (sans doute par les valises et aspirateurs..?) parking insuffisant malgré une bonne taille(heureusement un chemin à travers un beau parc mene à un parking public spacieux au centre ville). Déçue par l espace fitness : pas de clim pas de serviettes ni tapis, l appareil à running ne fonctionne pas correctement (choix de pente impossible, une sangle manque au rameur donc dangereux à utiliser…sa situation visu depuis l espace piscine et humidité ambiante font que les appareils sont en partie rouillés… l espace fitness mériterait un rafraîchissement quitte à le déplacer dans un endroit plus adapté de l hôtel…

Sehr gutes Hotel für ein Wellness-Wochenende

Die Betten sind sehr bequem und das von uns gebuchte Dreibettzimmer ist gerade groß genug für drei Erwachsene. Leider war die automatische Klimaanlage sehr laut und das Personal an der Rezeption hat uns nicht erklärt, wie man sie einstellt. Wir haben auch keine Gebrauchsanweisung im Zimmer gefunden. Nur durch ein wenig Herumprobieren haben wir es geschafft, sie auszuschalten! Das Frühstücksbuffet ist fantastisch, es fehlt an nichts, außer frisch gepresstem Orangensaft! Wir haben die anderen Mahlzeiten nicht im Hotelrestaurant eingenommen, sondern bevorzugten die kleinen lokalen Restaurants in Munster! Der Wellnessbereich ist gut und die Möglichkeit, sich draußen auf Liegestühlen auszuruhen, ist sehr angenehm.

Excellent séjour !

Nous avons passé dans cet hôtel un excellent séjour ! Tout y est: le confort, la tranquillité, la propreté, la gentillesse du personnel ! Nous avons été ravis concernant la propreté de la piscine, du spa, du hammam et du jacuzzi !
