You’ll feel as you are vacationing in Tuscany while staying here at the beautiful Murphys View! The rolling hills of the Sierra foothills provide a stunning vista as the perfect backdrop to your relaxing vacation in Calaveras County. This retreat features 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and over 3,000 square ft of luxury living, fully equipped for your stay. This home is the perfect destination for a girls' wine tasting trip, Ironstone concert weekend, or family getaway with plenty of room for family and friends. Take in the views from the many windows and multiple decks that define the California lifestyle of this home. The main floor features the spacious great room, kitchen, dining area, and master suite. The great room boasts soaring ceilings with a picturesque wood burning stove and floor-to-ceiling rock hearth. The modern kitchen is fully stocked and features stainless steel appliances, breakfast bar, and room for multiple chefs to work at once! The huge dining area provides stunning views and room for all your guests to dine together. Additional amenities include foosball, basketball, toys, high chair, and pack n play. You’re less than 2 miles from the enchanting downtown of Murphys with over 25 wine tasting rooms, fine dining, boutiques, music, and the picturesque Murphys park complete with gazebo and creek. This is the ideal home base to enjoy our many outdoor adventures from spelunking to hiking to kayaking - you’re just a short drive to Big Trees State Park, Bear Valley Ski Resort, pristine Alpine lakes, local caverns and hiking trails.

Murphys View sleeps 13 guests in 4 bedrooms. The master suite features a King bed. Bedroom 2 also features a King bed. Bedroom 3 has 2 bunk beds, each with a Full bed on the bottom and a Twin on top, as well as an additional Twin bed (total of 3 Twins and 2 Fulls), and Bedroom 4 has a Queen pullout. There are 3 full bathrooms and one half bathroom.

Amazing views and proximity to Bear Valley

This is a good location if you don't want to be at a high elevation in the snow, but close enough to drive to Bear Valley for snow play. We stayed with kids (ages 7-13) and the property was well-suited for them to have plenty of space. The only issue was that the provided door code did not work at check-in and we had to call to get a new passcode. It was quickly addressed.
