The ground floor serves as the main living area, welcoming you into a bright and spacious living room furnished for both relaxation and social gatherings. The Neighborhood:

Platanitis (Aitoloakarnania), near Nafpaktos, is a calm seaside village and a good base for exploring the Corinthian Gulf and central Greece. In Platanitis itself, visitors can enjoy relaxed days by the sea at Platanitis Beach, a clean pebbly beach with clear waters. The village is ideal for swimming, sunbathing, and quiet evening walks along the coast. Just 500m from the villa's premises, a convenient mini grocery store can be found for your daily needs.



Nearby beaches include Psani Beach in Nafpaktos (8 km), and Gribovo Beach in Nafpaktos (9 km), both offering umbrellas, cafés, and easy access from the town/ A little farther away are Skala Beach (15 km) and Chiliadou Beach (19km), Monastiraki Beach (19 km east), a long and partly organized beach popular with families, known for the natural surroundings and crystal-clear waters. For outdoor activities, the Evinos River (25 km) provides rafting, hiking, and scenic picnic spots, while cultural day trips to Galaxidi (45 km) or Delphi (60 km) are easily manageable.



Nafpaktos, located just 8 km from Platanitis, is one of the most attractive historic towns in western Greece and offers a rich mix of culture, history, beaches, and nightlife. The heart of the town is the Venetian harbor, a beautifully preserved small port lined with cafés and restaurants, perfect for a morning coffee or an evening drink. From the harbor, stone paths lead up to the impressive Nafpaktos Castle, one of the best-preserved castles in Greece. The castle is divided into several levels and offers panoramic views over the town, the Gulf of Corinth, and the Rio–Antirrio Bridge (12 km), especially spectacular at sunset.



The old town (Hora) of Nafpaktos is ideal for wandering, with narrow streets, traditional houses, small shops, and hidden squares that retain a strong local character. History lovers can visit monuments related to the Battle of Lepanto (1571), including the statue of Miguel de Cervantes, who fought in the famous naval battle. The town also has museums and cultural spaces that host exhibitions and events, particularly during summer.



For beach lovers, Nafpaktos offers two well-organized urban beaches: Psani Beach, located close to the harbor, and Gribovo Beach, a long, tree-lined beach slightly east of the center, ideal for families and leisurely swims. The villa can be reached by a private vehicle. With a car you will be able to explore this wonderful corner of Greece. Nafpaktos is just a 10 minute ride from the premises, the city of Patras within 20 minutes through the Rio-Antirrio bridge. The Athens International Airport is a 2h30 mins ride from the area.
