Bring Your Bike; Lovely Pool Garden
Posted Jan. 31, 2024 on HotelsThis older garden hotel is being renovated and seems to be under new management with some teething problems. We loved the location adjacent to the Tamiam Trail. Perfect for riding our bikes to the beaches, restaurants and around the quiet tree-lined streets with mansions!
Our ground level patio room faced the quiet and lovely interior garden and pool area. The pool was clean, but our room was not...the floor was covered with sand. The room was sparsely furnished (one chair, no desk or table) with new furnishings and comfortable bedding and mattresses. The glass shower enclosure was installed incorrectly and leaked onto the floor. The hot breakfast was OK but not outstanding.
They are trying, but have a ways to go. We would stay again for sure for the pool and location.

This property was exceptional. The grounds was amazing and also the staff. I just don't understand why there was no table and chairs or a desk to eat at. At checkout a man helped said he was new and assured me that the rooms don't come with a table and chairs even though the website showed them. Would have enjoyed eating their complimentary breakfast in our room instead of outside near the pool at 55 degrees temperature. Try being more helpful and understanding to your guests needs who paid top dollar instead of being rude.

I used to love this place, but many things have changed in the bad way. They keep their excellence in personnel service. All of them are so friendly and helpful. However, they are not making the beds every day, just each three days. Just one of the jacuzzis is working from a year until now, and I found a couple of roaches in the bathroom and around the TV.
