The property is great. The surrounding areas are dirty and unsafe.

No lift. Stairs steep. Steps in corridors unmarked. Low ceiling on stairs (I hit my head). No fire escape notice in room; cupboards dusty. No shelf in bathroom. Missing plug in shower, just a hole with sharp points to hurt feet where cover should have been. Shower weak, drips because joints leaked, Too few power sockets to charge items. Nowhere to put suitcases to unpack them. No bedside lights or bedside switches for main lights. Noisy (woken by guests arriving 2.30am). Aircraft noise. Staff could not find our booking on arrival because they had us listed under corrupted first names not surnames! But they did allow us to leave bags in reception after checking out.

A lousy value for big money. The property was dirty with beggars asking for money. The area was stinky, dirty and dangerous.

Pretty bad
Posted May 19, 2016 on ExpediaDirty. Gross shower and bathroom. Noisy. Constant cigarette smoke smell. Bedding and towels are surprisingly clean for such a place. Helpful staff.

Naples on the Cheap and Still Sleep Well
Posted Jan. 4, 2016 on HotelsJust a couple blocks from the train station. Very convenient if you'll be taking side trips to Pompeii and Herculaneum. I've stayed in the station area before and it can be very noisy all night. This hotel, however, is partway down a side street with little traffic (and in typical Naples style, lots of double-parked cars blocking the street anyway). The staff are friendly and very attentive. The rooms appear to have been recently refurbished. Lots of inexpensive dining options within a one or two block radius. A great value for the money. I'd stay there again.
