I used to live in Nashville and wanted a place in east Nashville near where my area friends still live. Walkable to the 5 points area and so close to downtown yet feeling âquiet neighborhoodâ at same time; this place is ideal if you want something a little kitschy but want the âreal Nashvilleâ with a completely different character than the downtown and tourist traps. There was some nice live music one night and more of a DJ lounge vibe in the outdoor areas, with excellent craft cocktails. The sound proofing in the room was considerable, because the music and outdoor lounge went till late on the weekends, but we couldnât hear it inside.
The breakfast was convenient, but a little more âcarbs forwardâ than what we would normally choose. Think of it like âcontinental+â. Not a criticism, it worked for us 2 out of three mornings, and the coffee was 3/3.
The soaking tub and large shower in our room were phenomenal, especially given it was July heat wave, so cooling off/soaking/nap were the right way to spend noon-230pm.
This place is just great, as long as you arenât someone who needs hotels to be âcookie cutterâ, which this is NOT.
