False Advertising

The information about this hotel was extremely misleading. First of it says has an outdoor pool....there is NO pool!!!! Secondly it advertises FREE airport transfer.....that is also not true. Let me say the family who run the place were lovely & extremely helpful BUT you cannot advertise a pool and free transfer & not provide these things. I think Hotels.com should look at this. Also the hotel is really in the middle of nowhere. They also said Wifi but none was available

Secondly it was not our intention to be misleading to any of our valued guests. I was not aware about our site advertising an outdoor pool this is was an error on the behalf of those who set up the room amenities. I have now amended that for future guests to see. Thirdly I have informed my partner that we are unable to provide free airport transfers due to keeping our room rates at an affordable price therefor i am only charging half of the price for airport shuttles for our valued guests. I have also informed my partners about the airport shuttle a few months ago and they are yet to update it I also have advised you before your arrival. From gudsmith home to the beach, restaurants, coffee shops and boutiques e.c.t is only a 5-10 minutes walks. Train and bus stations are only a 3-5 minutes walk from gudsmiths home. I did not know you were having trouble with the wifi, if you had told me earlier i would have been able to help you connect. I am always committed to my business and valued guests to make sure they are happy when they leave my place, most of my guests are very happy with my service and accommodation provided. Once again i am sorry you had a bad experience because of incorrect information due to human error. Thanks for helping me to fix my errors to avoid this happening in the future. Avslappende og rolig oase(men uten svømmebasseng), med kort avstand til alt. Veldig hyggelige og hjelpsomt vertskap. Her kan du slappe av på terrassen og se bla flygehunder(svære flaggermus), utallige fugler og orkideer. Kunne trengt blendingsgardiner...

スリランカ初日に宿泊しました(コロンボ空港22時着)。エクスペディアに空港送迎無料とあったのでここを選んだのですが、事前のホテルとのやり取りで送迎は8ドルとのこと。他の予約サイトの口コミを見ると無料だったという人もいれば3~4ドル支払ったという書き込みもあり、よくわかりません。8ドルは高いと感じたので、結局は空港送迎を断ってUberを利用しました(3ドルくらいでした)。空港送迎無料という情報だったのでこのホテルを予約したのに、その点は残念でした。しかし、翌朝の朝食は美味しくホテルスタッフもチェックアウト後の移動方法について親身に相談に乗ってくれたので、総合的には良いホテルだったと思います。

The owners were brilliant, they leant us bikes, took us to his tennis club for some tennis with the members, the tennis club cook made our dinner from fresh fish we brought and we enjoyed dinner and beers with the members after tennis Rohan organised us to meet the other guests and arranged a shared car for us to go onto sygria Breakfasts were delicious and the house was lovely and easy walk to beach

We enjoyed two nights at this property. Rohan and his wife took exceptional care of us. Our flight was delayed and that was no problem, he collected us at 4am! Breakfast was wonderful and we even had afternoon tea. Rohan drove us around Negombo and took us to the tennis courts where he volunteers. Beautiful people and I'd recommend that you visit them.

Great option for a night before flying. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They gave me a ride to the airport in the morning. Would recommend.
