Friendly check in was very welcoming. Nice sized room. Wish the seating was more comfortable. The single lounge chair felt broken and you sunk in to it. Otherwise it was a good, quiet room for our two night stay.

The staff was helpful and courteous, room was clean with a fridge and nearby microwave in the laundry room next to us.The room was very small with a huge bathroom where we had to put our luggage- or no room to walk. It was the most expensive motel we booked- again no closet- just a couple of hangers on the wall. Quiet location

It's a renovated older motel, very clean, no carpets!! Which I love. Bathtub had a chip, but otherwise very nice, clean , and good setup. The beds were very comfortable and firm, which I love too. Relatively thin blanket, if I would not have brought my own blanket I might have been a bit on the cool side. Room was kept at 20 degrees Celsius, warm enough, but not too warm. The checkin was warm and friendly, and the parking lot nice and secure. It was easy to find. We arrived when it was already dark. I bet it has a nice view over the River and bridge at daylight. I am writing this review early in the morning, so still dark. I would definitely stay here again when I would look for a place in Nelson. Again I was very impressed by the cleanliness!! Would definitely recommend this motel when you want to look for a simple basic but comfortable clean place to stay .
