Staff very friendly, very clean room and common area. I personally love the waffles, but could use more options for those that don’t for breakfast. Will be staying here again!!!

The room needed much better lighting. It was very difficult to read except right in bed next to those lamps. Also, towel bars in the bathroom would allow guests to hang up their wet towels and not need clean towels every day.

We only spent the night and did not explore the property. We were in town for a gravel cycling event at Snow Fork event center. We really liked the hotel though and commented that we need to go back to spend an entire weekend exploring. We will stay here again.

This hotel is very unkept and the staff were not friendly. The coffee was terrible and continental breakfast was a joke. We checked out early and won’t be staying here again.

The bed was very uncomfortable a huge dip in the middle made it very difficult to sleep without being sore in the am. Staff were friendly and rooms were clean, the cleaner used was a little too strong leaving behind a strong perfume smell

Front desk staff was friendly, responsive and helpful. Breakfast was poor( chocolate muffins, instant oatmeal, milk, juice and coffee and temperamental waffle maker) Our room was not cleaned after our first night. Bed not made, trash not emptied, and no clean towels. The towels could not be reused because of a lack of space to hang them. I was not told these serves would not be given. Front desk apologized and did give me fresh towels. The hard surfaced floors were very nice. They gave the room a clean feel over carpet. In general the room was well appointed but did lack flat things to put things on to keep items off the floor. The clean towels were hung on one rack that was placed above the toilet that did not have a seat cover. When toilet was flushed the towels were not protected. Doesn’t feel very sanitized.

The room needed a chair! There was no place to sit. Beds were comfortable, overall fine. An overhead light would be nice. We were visiting Ohio University on a game weekend. The cost to stay at the Lodge was way below any hotel in Athens. The Lodge is not easy to find, I would stay again. Oh the breakfast is thin, waffles and cereal. There is a small bar, which was very nice. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. All in all it is a very nice hotel. We saved over $100 by staying at the Lodge. Again the room needs a chair!
