Wifi was weak throughout. About 2-3mb/s and often times dropped in room. Video playback/conferencing was not possible... at least in my room. The property is ok and comfortable. Location is relatively good with easy access to tram. Housekeeping often forgot towels which was a bit annoying.

My husband and I stayed here with our small children. The location was convenient and we met some lovely fellow travelers at the pool. The room was okay, though the mattresses are elevated above normal so parents of small children take note. There were a few issues that management addressed quickly. The front desk staff person was distracted- not particularly welcoming.

The historic building on the property added charm. They had a small pool and hot tub-which were nice after hours of walking around the Quarter. The hotel was conveniently located in the Garden district-close enough to drive or Uber or take the street car down to the Quarter but far enough away that is was quiet at night. You can pay for parking nightly in their private lot, but the street had plenty of space to park for free and no issues. We had issues getting towels in the evening for the pool and for our room. The shower temperature was not great-no matter the time of day. Lighting in the rooms was poor and the air conditioner set at 63 just barely kept the room cool enough at night (for those of us experiencing hot flashes and such). We did not try the breakfast. Overall for the price, it was fine.

The location was pretty good! It is right off of the St. Charles trolly line and you can take that all the way past the Garden district, past Loyola and Tulane. The area is beautiful and I will stay more towards that area next time! This property is basically an old apartment or complex that looks as if they converted to a hotel at some point. I could be wrong. The outside of the complex is fine and the different courtyard areas are quaint with table and sheds umbrellas on each table. There is a lack of chairs for all tables; however there weren’t many people out in the courtyard areas so the amount of chairs were good for our party (2 people)😁. It is quiet and there are about 5-6 resident cats that lay lazily in the sun and make it feel home like. The reservation/ welcoming area was not great. The fabric on all of the furniture was worn and very, very stained with wear or dirt. The whole property needs updating and a refresh! The potential is there but either the funds aren’t there or that don’t care. The staff, from the front desk to the breakfast attendant were very lackadaisical. I went into the reservation/ lobby area 5 times during working hours and they were either literally sleeping or on a personal phone call. When I had an interaction they were acceptably cordial but not in a Chick- fil- A kind of way. The room: main room area had great air conditioning unit! The room was sub par old and all needed updating everywhere! Molded grout! Yuk! Won’t return.

The room smelt like pee, the bed was comfortable. The lighting was poor and the pool was filthy you couldn’t see the bottom. The staff were nice but the parking wasn’t so great for how much you pay.
