The room was so hot it was unbearable. There was no a/c and a tiny window would not allow room to cool off. There was a door to balcony but it had no screen door and the area was swarming with huge flies. We asked for another room only to discover there is no a/c in any rooms. And they couldn’t find a room anyway. There was no way we could stay in that room

Check in time states 4pm. I made a special request to be checked in on time, at 4pm. We got there at 4:28pm due to some traffic and were told our room wasn't ready. It wouldn't be ready until 6-6:30pm. I was a bit upset, drove 4+ hours and wasn't feeling the best at that point. We got an email at 7:02pm that the room was finally ready. The manager. The "guy in the pink suit" was great, friendly and had a great smile even though I was upset about the late check in situation. However, there was a front desk staff, Humberto that was impolite and unprofessional. His rude and dismissive demeanor made my son and I very uncomfortable. He needs more training in customer service and the way he speaks to guests.

The property was older but well maintained. We arrived at 3:35 to check in and had to wait until 4:00. It was defiantly not because our room wasn't ready. At 4:00 the desk clerk just checked us in and never even looked to see if the room was ready or not! They never even offered to store our luggage, so we could enjoy the area. We have been to many hotels and it has never been a problem to check in a few minutes early. I'm sure he was following orders, but maybe management should discuss how bad reviews are received by others.

The crab dock and cooking facility is great for families and kids. However, this place is charging premium resort pricing for old, broken down facilities without a complementary breakfast, or room service or even a decent place for families to go eat. The sauna has to be reset due to "safety" feature on the sauna. This was the same issue 2 years ago and nothing has changed. They tell you to call the front desk and they will send someone to reset it, but they don't. I called 2 years ago during our stay and they never sent someone. I called ahead to see if the sauna was working this time and was told it was, but I got they same message. I called Friday night. They didn't send anyone. I kept checking. I called Saturday, they said they would send someone- they didn't. I tried again Sunday morning, and they finally did because it worked! They have two very small hot tubs, yet only one works. The other is covered with an old piece of plywood. It was the same two years ago. They have resurfaced the pool, but they didn't fix the hot tub or the Sauna? BTW, I had to get Band-Aids because that new surface cut my nephew's toes! And top it all off, check-in is at 4, but our room wasn't ready until 6, and when I read the reviews, this is a common problem. Their reply is that somewhere in the fine print, check-in could be as late as 6 (so they cover their butts). However, they don't offer anything like a free late check-out, or a voucher for the restaurant, or tickets to something in town

Beds are so cheap and uncomfortable - bed was so unstable I couldn't sleep and needed to move the mattress off the frame to the floor which is gross, just to sleep without the feeling or shift. The area around the property was great, the view and recently renovated units were very nice. Walkable to the historical strip of restaurants and stores. Crab docks if you use them.

Honestly, the room was wonderful. I loved being able to sit out on the deck both in the morning and in the evening and enjoying the view of the bay. Not all of them have bay rooms, so you need to make sure that you ask for it. The hot tub and pool were nice. The hot tub could be a little more spacious. They did have a second hot tub that was under construction. I loved that they had a full dock and wash and cook area for crab. The only thing that majorly disappointed I and my friend was that they had no air conditioning in the rooms. On the coast. I know that several would think this is not a big deal. However, we would come back to our room after spending a full day out and about and come back to a room that felt approximately 80°. They provide floor fans and there was a ceiling fan in my bedroom. But my understanding is not all of the bedrooms have ceiling fans and that was the only thing that saved me on this trip.

No A/C, no breakfast, and extra towels didn’t arrive till the next day during checkout. Pool needs to be open later . Dishwasher broken . Check for spiders . Remove the glass off the coffee table. Have extra blankets and towels. I still enjoyed my stay though. Nice bedroom Good view

Inside room the chairs, lamp shades, desk, & area with coffee pot run down. Food options. Restaurant on site, little time open. Need breakfast times. We had noisy neighbors upstairs. We talked to the parents. They had their kids in one room, them in another. Second night we were able to sleep. Leaving kids alone should not be allowed ! Think they said they were ,12 & 14. Internet good.Plenty of towels etc. Maids checked on us .
