Unit 7 is a large one bedroom, dog friendly room in one of the most sought after locations in Newport. The room boasts a king size bed, ample closet space, queen size pullout sofa, TV, and coffee station. There is a modern ensuite bathroom with a walk-in glass shower.

This property is unique in that it is a Boutique Inn, meaning you have a private bedroom and en suite bathroom, but also have full use of a common kitchen, dining area, office, deck and living room.

29 Pelham Street is located in one of the most sought after locations in Newport on historic Pelham St. You are a five minute walk to famous Newport landmarks such as: Bannisters & Bowens Wharf, Trinity and St. Mary's Church and The Black Pearl Restaurant. Truly, you are in the heart of it all with dozens of restaurants, shops, bars and sights right outside your door.

Hop in your car for a 10 minute drive to both the Ocean Drive and Bellevue Avenue Preservation Society Mansions.


Windward Suites properties are all keyless, and instead use keypad smart locks for all of the doors for both the buildings and units. All guests will receive an email the morning of their arrival with the instructions, codes to the doors and Wifi. Super easy!

Check-in time is anytime after 3:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Please be respectful of these times unless you have contacted us, as we have a cleaning crew who need the time to do a thorough job before and after all of our guests.

Parking is located behind the building with two spaces alongside the building as well. There is one space allocated per room.

29 Pelham Street is a truly unique property. It is modern and fully updated Boutique Inn, meaning, there are common areas which all guests have access to and can use at their leisure, including the living room, dining room, and kitchen, office, and deck.

However, it also boasts six private bedrooms, each with their own ensuite bathroom, as well as one two bedroom suite, also with an ensuite bathroom. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious, some coming equipped with pull out sofa beds, and the renovated bathrooms all have glass walk-in showers.

This is a dog friendly property with parking for seven cars. The entire building was recently upgraded to mini splits in each room. Cleanliness is our top priority as well as providing guests with high end linens, towels and toiletries.

Absolutely loved it here! The hosts were communicative and welcoming. We had all the information we needed upon arrival and it was simple and smooth. The codes for the doors make it super easy. In the space, everything looked brand new and was very clean. We loved having the common area, which has a full kitchen, dining area, lounge area and bathroom, so my fiancee could go enjoy his coffee and bop around while I slept in. The room was really comfortable and there was plenty of space. This would be the perfect spot to travel as a group, since it has multiple units and the common area. It's right in the heart of everything. We only needed to drive to go to the cliff walk and mansions. We didn't hear any street noise except when the window was open, despite there being a lot of bars around. We got engaged during this trip, so we'll definitely be back! I highly recommend.

Perfect place, perfect location!

This trip was the first time to Newport for my husband and me. We were SO pleased that we had found the perfect place for us! The place looks just like the pictures, was clean, quiet, and easy access to the wharf and Thames Street. Communication was great and had easy check in. We also appreciated having a parking spot at no additional cost. We highly recommend staying here

.and you should think about checking out our favorite restaurants, the Gas Lamp Grille, Pasta Beach, the Corner Cafe, and the historic White Horse Tavern.

Perfect stay

Although we did not physically meet the owners of the property, all communications through email was always on-time (i.e. receive the door codes). Property was perfectly clean and the location to the downtown is a 2 min walk. Will definitely look to stay here again.

Relaxing winter stay in Newport

My partner and I and our pup very much enjoyed our visit. The property is well maintained, our room was spacious and very clean and the proximity to the attractions of Newport could not be beat. It was also wonderful to have on-site parking. Because of the location close to everything, we were able to do our day time sight seeing and shopping and take a restorative break in our room before taking an evening stroll. Thanks for a much needed respite.

Amazing, clean & close to downtown

FIVE-STARS all around!!!! My wife and I wanted to get away for a few days and this place served as the perfect accommodation for her and our dog. We were SO IMPRESSED with how CLEAN and organized it was and the building’s location could not have been more perfect. We could walk to everything. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery (being surrounded by the blocks’ historical homes), even directly outside our window. Can’t forget the brilliant dark ‘make-up’ towels provided to guests, which really impressed the wife! We will definitely keep this location in our minds for future visits. Cheers!
