We were excited to spend the day at the falls to celebrate my fiancé's birthday. Upon arrival we found a charge for parking (from $35 offsite to $100 valet Canadian dollars). Not expected!
At check in i was upsold to an premium room with a hot tub at a $75 extra, which i opted for.
After a long drive there I was looking forward to small rest before going out to dinner, our room overall was clean however somewhat dated with a great view. As we attempted a nap Im supprised to hear jackhammering from an adjacent room. After an hour or so I went to the front desk to determine the sorce of the noise and was told the hotel is remodeling and there sorry, they offered me another room but couldn’t guarantee I would not hear the same noise. At this time I asked for compensation, as I would have not paid to to upgrade my room, and may not have even stayed there. And after a long conversation and a couple trips to supposedly talk to the manager (who should have spoken directly to us) we were given $35 off of our $455 dollar bill.
Very unsatisfied. I would not recommend staying here, paying these prices with this poor customer service!
