I had negative experience with this particular Marriott location. Generally Marriott is my first choice of the hotel, but this one is something else. Honestly i had similar experience recently when i spent a night at Delta near Montreal airport when my flight was delayed and Air Canada accomodate me for free. But that time i didn't expect much from run-of-the-mill hotel. This Marriott has it all: littered surrounding area perfect as a decoration for post-apocalyptic movie, pure room sound proofing, noisy ventilation, shabby bathroom... you name it.

Good location, beautiful rooms - only comment is that the rooms could use more light fixtures.

Outstanding staff! Extremely helpful & courteous. Hashmal at concierge desk went out of his way to help with a quirky computer

Front desk staff were inconsistent. Some moderately helpful, some not at all. Elevators were terrible with at least one out of service at all times. Buffet breakfast way too expensive. Facilities need a complete makeover in many common areas and touch ups in rooms.

Nice Hotel thats close to downtown Toronto

Pros: The hotel is great, amenities are awesome, friendly staff.
Cons: Offer somewhere to park instead of only valet parking.
Location: Great location, in the heart of downtown. If you don't have a car, its easy to get around in. Lots of bars and restaurants.
The Hotel is great, you can't be the location, it is located right in downtown. The only downfall of the hotel is that there is no free parking, valet parking is $36 for the night, and the parking down the street for half the day or night is $12. Just be know that before you book.

Nice hotel

Great hotel and experience. The valet confusion not withstanding. But the staff was great. The room was clean and nice. Great stay. Can't wait to visit Toronto again.

Toronto Marriott Stay

Pros: What I liked was the familiarity to all Courtyard by Marriotts. They are all similar and comfortable.
Cons: The elevators which worked properly, could use some renovation.
Location: Toronto is an exciting city with lots do do. South of the city are some wonderful wineries, including the Kacaba winery.
We were in Toronto for 8 Days to attend a wedding and do some touring. We found the hotel centrally located and very comfortable. If you have been to a Courtyard by Marriott before, you will find this hotel very familiar. The rooms were wonderful as was the service. The only issue is that the hotel appeared old in some places, especially around the elevators, where surfaces appeared worn and in need of updating. But, all in all a wonderful stay in a wonderful city at a wonderful hotel.

Clean, friendly, horrible air conditioning

The hotel was clean and staff was incredibly friendly but the air conditioning and I use that term loosely was horrendous. It barely worked and had maintenance come to the room to fix it and nothing happened. The room was hot and incredibly uncomfortable.
