Cool hotel and excellent location. Would definitely stay there again. The carpet needs updating throughout the property (hallway carpet looks like it was last updated in the 1970s.

4 star standard at a 3 star price. Paper cups instead of ceramic cups or glasses were a disappointment but ask nicely and you’ll get proper cups for tea and coffee and glasses ( for that late night drink) from the ground floor facilities. Public transport is a breeze and the Lignes D’Azur travel card is worth it for a 3 day stay. We used Bio Brod for breakfast. Good choice.

Staff was very nice, friendly and helpful… loved the location. Across street from the see, walking distance to city center, all restaurants, shops, cafes and old town. No need to take tram or drive if staying in NICE…. Can take uber, or tram visiting neighboring towns. Highly recommend this place. Will stay here for next visit

It would be nice if the hotel were to carry pillows that aren’t so high and big for those of us with neck issues that need flatter pillows. Additionally, for a hotel that nice, I highly recommend that the hotel invest in much higher quality of towels. The towels were very small and very thin and crunchy. I dreaded getting out of the shower having to use them. Other than that, it was very nice.

I loved our stay at Le Royal. A 10 for location- upscale, u can walk the promenade, access beach, wslk to shop, eat, etc. The absolute best for location!!!!!! They need to get new carpet- a grey textured pattern to update!!!!but overall, it offeredso much. AS THEY SAY, LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. LOVEDTHE TERRACE SEA VIEW!

Charming oceanfront hotel! Our room had an ovean view which was breathtaking, was spacious and very comfortable for our family of 3. The location was very convenient, with a variety of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance.

Great view of ocean and Nice esplanade. Lovely room and service, however the mattress was far too firm. This made for an uncomfortable nights sleep for 2 nights. The buffet breakfast was fantastic. Great variety. Hotel is in good location for cafes & o but a fair walk to old town and harbour. 20-30 minute walk up to top of hill for fabulous views.
