Rent a log home on a private peninsula on Northwood Lake. Enjoy Paradise!

Enjoy the warmth of a log cabin. Sink your toes in the sand on your private beach or fish from your private dock. The property has a loon nesting ground on it which is incredible to see. Enjoy the open log home with air conditioning. A wall of windows looking down the biggest views of the lake. Enjoy the lake life from the main deck or coffee off the private deck of the master bedroom. In the master BR there is a queen size Select comfort bed with full bath /Jacuzzi tub. The full kitchen has custom wood cabinets with stone knobs. Granite/SS appliances, butcher block island with stools and small dining table. Plenty of seating on the queen size sleeper/leather sofa and 2 swivel chairs with big coffee table with 4 hidden footrests. In the loft there is a queen size sleeper, swivel chair and a romantic chair for 2 facing the view through the lakeside window wall. The walkout basement has a full size sleeper with 4 gaming chairs that convert to children size sleepers. There is a full size washer and dryer and a 3/4 bath as well. There is a treadmill and walker. 5 person Peddle boat, 15.6 foot canoe and 1 person kayak available for use. Enjoy the hammock while having a bonfire at the ready to go stone pit. There is a smart TV on each level and DVD player. Satellite Dish TV and Netfix. The main level has an X-Box. The lake is a waterski/jetski/sailing/tubing/swimming/fishing body of paradise! You can rent this log home and or rent the cottage (listing #1126350) for a great family or friends retreat but still enjoy your privacy! The perimeter of the property is lined with blueberry bushes, pick while you enjoy Paradise!

This place is the only place that i would stay at.

This is our 2nd time here. It is a very nice place, location is great, lake is beautiful and Helena and her family are very friendly. Cannot wait to go back next year to have a great time with family and friends

Fantastic clean Real life modern log cabin on a magical lake. We loved canoeing, the fishing is fantastic, and the decks are all relaxing. However, he sounds of the highway dampened our vacation, since we were escaping NYC. The BBQ and kitchen facilities are fantastic.

Lovely home, fun for kids

Wonderful home, great amenities, excellent swimming for the kids. The owner was friendly and welcoming, easy to contact if needed. The house is comfortable and one of my kids declared “this place just feels like home”. Swimming is perfect for kids and the lake is not super busy with boats so you can float out far with inflatables and not worry. Location is easy to get to, and within 20 minutes of big box stores, small stores, grocery stores. Even though the house is set a ways back from the road, you hear the traffic. Literally the only draw back to this rental is the road noise. But it’s easy for the noise to fade in the background when having fun, just not when you want a quiet cup of coffee on the deck.

Beautiful home & lake

Our stay at the lake was fantastic! The house has everything (and more!) that you would need for a relaxing stay. The owners were great and you can tell they put a lot of love into the home. The windows are beautiful and provide a lovely view of the lake! We spent most of our time relaxing on the dock or swimming in the lake. The kids caught a lot of sunfish and perch off the dock which kept them happy and occupied (when they weren't swimming)! We were lucky to be blessed with great weather and a beautiful full moon that kept the lake aglow at night. Also, there is the best ice cream store and brewery just a few minutes down the street!

Peace in Paradise

Quality all around! The furniture and lay out of the rooms are very functional, inviting and beautiful. The view of the lake is amazing. We were there for July 4th, and had great seats for fireworks and the boats right from the deck. Love this lake, it's so alive with nature and not too busy with people (just busy enough). The peninsula provides a private oasis. The weather was great, nice and warm. Closing the blinds on the downstairs windows allowed the cabin to stay cooler, we only needed to use the AC upstairs for a few hours at night. The speakers outside around the house are awesome. We had peaceful music and the sounds of nature all around. The gates for the stairways enabled us to make the basement area into a separate living space for family to stay and have privacy. The loft worked great for the kids to sleep just outside our door. This is high on the list of favorite places we've stayed!

The property and home are amazing! View is beautiful.

This log home is beautiful, clean, and extremely well maintained. It had everything we needed and more. Having access to the kayak, canoe, paddle boats, and floats was a real bonus. Plus the home is stocked with towels and bathroom/kitchen supplies so it was like being at our home. Grocery store and market are nearby. Lots of wildlife to see-ducks, chipmunks, loons, even a muskrat! The owners were extremely responsive to any questions or anything we needed. We could not have felt more welcome or taken care of. Our stay was wonderful, will definitely come back!!
