Dated motel.

Stayed here because it's close to my daughter's house. It's in need of updating. Most of the staff were friendly. No breakfast, just granola bars and cereal bars.

Checking in and out was a breeze. We stayed for 2 nights and it was nice and quiet! The bed was not that comfortable but I was still able to sleep. All in all it was nice for the price and would stay here again.

The coverings on the box springs and mattress were very dirty and stained. I asked for them to be changed. Was told they would be and they were not. Did not even make the bed. They also did not clean the coffee maker.

This property needs serious cleaning and maintenance. Perhaps it is currently being renovated. The hallways and stairs were filthy! Couldn’t see out of the windows because they were so dirty. Siding was broken. Garbage cans overflowing.

Nice stop on our trip across the Upper peninsula

We stopped for night after going to a Packers game. Staff was super friendly. Loved the pool and hot tub being adult only after 10pm. I was able to relax. Made our next leg of our trip home relaxing after a great night sleep. Recommended them

I recently stayed at the Motel 6 in Norway, MI and would call it “just okay.” The biggest plus was that they don’t charge an extra fee for dogs, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the designated dog room I was given needed a lot more attention. The bed skirting had visible pet stains, and the floor still had that telltale “pre-vacuum dust.” The overall scent of the room — combined with lingering pet odors — made my nose so stuffed up I could hardly breathe. When I mentioned it at the desk, the attendant was polite and apologetic, but instead of moving me to another room, she simply suggested I use the bed that “didn’t have pee on it.” My request for a different room was kindly refused, which was disappointing since I had just checked in. The pool and hot tub were technically open and “clean-ish,” but the water in the hot tub looked cloudy enough that I decided to skip it. Overall, you get what you pay for here. It’s not terrible, but it’s not great either. With a little more effort in cleaning and upkeep, this Motel 6 could be much better. As it stands, I’d stay again only if there were no other budget-friendly options in the area. Otherwise, it might be worth checking Escanaba or nearby alternatives.

Get what you pay for, that's for sure

Shower up 1 hour before check in, after driving 5 hours with a 6 year old, and was the first hotel ever that wouldn't let me check in until the 3pm check in time. The room overall was a basic cheap hotel room. The room felt damp beyond comfortable. In bare feet it felt like the carpet was wet and when I went to bed the sheets inside the bed felt damp beyond comfortable. The pillows were the size of little square couch pillows. Also, the box springs sheets had stains all over the side and was plain as day, which means whoever cleaned the room is either blind or didn't even care. If you plan on asking for a late check out.....don't even bother. If you aren't checked out by 11am they will charge you $30 for not being out on time. Idk how my room wasn't ready yet after having 3 hours before I got there to get rooms cleaned. I never write reviews but probably won't be staying here again
