Had the best time. Very clean and beach was fantastic. Not much shade but you could rent umbrella for 15 dollars a day. Was well worth it.

The good: the staff, the beach, the property, the drinks, the cleanliness, the service, etc etc. Not one complaint about how gorgeous it was or how clean or how accommodating and polite every single staff member was. Everyone worked very hard to provide the best service possible and we were happy. The bad: the food was pretty awful. I get that it’s hard to provide different styles of food for such a large and varied circulation of guests, but when even the tacos are so-so…come on. Anyway, the Steakhouse wasn’t bad, and the buffet was hit or miss. The Italian was bad. Kyoto’s was not good. Room service was terrible. The American Bar was also meh. Pepe’s was ok in a pinch, but overall, all things edible were super disappointing unless it was fruit or pastries. All that being said, I didnt realize how important food is on vacation, and anyone here praising the food is obviously a rube who has never had a decent meal.

The place is beautiful! Spotless, rooms are great, beach is awesome and the water perfect for swimming. The staff is ten out of ten. They work hard to make your experience enjoyable. My only complaint was the food. Not so great. We did the buffet, the Steakhouse, Kyoto,l Italian, the American Bar, and Pepe's. All of it was disappointing. But to be fair, its probably hard to offer so many different varieties of food and make it amazing.

Facilities were clean, food was sub par an unimpressive. Pools were to hot at 95 and party pool was closed for two days. Riu white party was advertised but found out that the sister hotel that held the party was closed. We will not be going back to the Riu Palace.

This resort is a hidden gem with fantastic meal options, a great atmosphere, great pools/beach, great buffet, and beautiful rooms. We will be back. I would recommend the Elite option so you can make dinner reservations and access to the Elite Bar. If you don’t get it it’s not a deal breaker just a few more lines for the last meal.

Staff was rude. They appeared disgruntled. We left the restarurant a couple of times without completing our stay because of the staff's attitude. If we didnt leave a tip with the bar waiters we would get dirty looks. Always serving the cheapest alcohol brands. The asian restaurant food was so bad we didnt eat it. Entertainmant was mediocre. The best aspect of this place was their pool side waitresses and waiters. They were helpful and nice. There were some other staff that were also nice, but those restaurant waiters and waitresses were awful. The girls at the coffee kiosk also appeared like they hated their job. Will not go back. We've been to other all inclusive resorts similar to this one and had wayyyy better experience.

The resort and rooms was very clean! I enjoyed the daily pool activities and nighttime shows. The food was very good. I especially liked the steakhouse restaurant. There was a swim up bar which I really like. The staff was amazing and very friendly. I would definitely come back.

After requesting a room change due to the first room not being up to cleanliness standards, everything was fine. I do wish there was more of a selection for the mini bar. The Mexican and buffet restaurants were great. The food at the sports bar is lacking. The pools are too hot by the afternoon when you'd like them to be cool. Beach was amazing. Wish you could get more than one towel per person at a time.
