Don’t get room by the train tracks

Nice hotel, close to city center, but the room was extremely hot and told front desk about the blower was not working, and possibly due to language barrier said ohh well, open window and it will cool off. Problem was the window was literally right next to train track, screeching brakes, Horns, and locomotives kept us up all night. My children had the room next door and their room was cool. Their air handler was Working.

Just Right

We arrived after taking the early Ryanair flight from Stansted.! We received a warm welcome and given our rooms straight away, which was a blessing as we are no longer in the prime of life. The breakfast was excellent, beds very comfortable and big shower and safe with sensible safety rails, but modern. Great location close to City Walls and Railway station. We travelled to Bamburgh by train.

Good location

Very comfortable stay, short walk to the main station which takes you directly to the airport within 20 minutes. Close to the old town where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. Buffet breakfast in hotel is good and staff are very attentive and friendly.

The wifi is basically unusable. Used multiple devices, could not stay connected for longer than 2 minutes. Otherwise the hotel was clean, neat, with helpful staff.

Great staff

Really friendly staff who always greeted you with a smile! Room was good for the price, great location, a five minute walk into the city centre and a short walk to the old town. Great transport links close by. Only issue we had is the heating didn't work very well, everything else was great value for money!

Nice hotel, nice location and nice room. 2 Minutes from the train station. If i stay again i would book without breakfast. I think it is too basic for the price-better to go to train station and have a good coffe and something from bakery.

Good location

Close to train station (could just roll luggage on sidewalk to it; no taxi needed) in a row of hotels. Just a block or two from many restaurant/shopping options (the city center area), and a 10-15 min walk from "Old Town" The room was very small for my family of 4. But even though it's on a busy street they have amazing soundproofing and it was the quietest hotel room I've stayed in in a while.

Lovely hotel.

Very short walking distance from train station and entrance to city loads of bars ,places to eat. The hotel is very clean rooms good size just enough for a long weekend. The corridors are quiet and have good double glazing.The breakfast is tasty and lots of choice. Drinks at the bar wasn't too overpriced. The reception staff were polite and friendly. I've stayed here before , isn't the cheapest for an express but a lovely comfortable stay.

A very reliable hotel

Very convenient hotel for visiting our son in Nuremberg. Rooms are very comfortable and clean and reasonably priced. Bathroom also of a high standard. Reception staff are helpful and polite and speak good English. Our second stay.

Very basic Holiday Inn

It's only amenities in the bathroom was a hair and body wash dispenser. It had adequate breakfast. It was pretty close to the old town. I don't know why some people rated it 4 stars at Trip Advisor because it didn't even have a restaurant. The cab driver couldn't even find it and took us to the one in old town. We had to take another cab back to this one. You can walk it with wheeled luggage from the train station.
