The cabin was nice but its right under where the jets come down low and shake the whole cabin. Its one of the loudest spots on the island for jet noise and they didnt even warn us about it.

This place is like walking into an old dutch hotel. The dark wood thruout is awesome. The room was very clean. Staff was freindly. We will definitely be back.

First, it is in the flight path of the Naval Air Station and they fly from 7:30am to about 9:00pm. You hear the jets every couple minutes but you cannot see them from the hotel. Our toilet sounded like a fog horn and asked for it to be repaired. A simple $20 valve would have fixed it. They sent a maintenance person and left a tag on the door but did not fix it. So we had to live with the fog horn for a 2nd night. The room was dirty. Black hair stuck to the side of the shower wall. My wife's white socks got dirty just walking around in the room. There were scent dispensers in the room trying to cover something up making it smell very perfumey. No hot tub or pool. No elevator.

The bathroom around the bathtub needs to be remodeled. The property is older and decor outdated. The bed was extremely comfortable. The loud sounds from the night airplane drills was very alarming.

This property is priced too high for its condition! The rooms need renovating, furniture was damaged, sink had no stopper in one room and wouldn’t drain in another, bathtubs had black mold , some electrical outlets and TV didn’t work.

I will give this hotel one thumbs up for its service and friendliness. Everybody in the staff was approachable and very down to earth. It also gets a thumbs up for some of its charm with the Dutch themed paintings and figurines. However, everything else almost negated it completely. This hotel is very outdated. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. And it was noisy because it sets next to a very busy highway.
