A historical feeling with modern conveniences.
Publié le 2 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThis almost didn't happen because there was a storm that took the power out. But, fortunately, the power was on and we were able to have 2 nights there. It has so much character. It was clean and located close to the New River Gorge for us to commute back and forth. Tiffany was wonderful to communicate with us and she and Kevin gave a quick history lesson of the place.

Awesome Getaway
Publié le 13 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThis cabin is great. From check in to check out everything was as stated and cabin was great. I would definitely stay here a again. Only a few miles from main entrance to New River Gorge, and Thurmond. Easy drive to all other parts of the National Park. We even got in a few State Parks and 1 Battlefield.
And dog friendly was the icing on the cake.

Publié le 24 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was one of the best places I have stayed! It was quiet. It was peaceful. Perfect place to disconnect and just be. I did not turn on the tv at all. as an added bonus, I saw a shooting star. Book this cozy cabin and you will not regret it.
