Expectation Exceeded

Our options were limited when booking and upon driving into the Mews off the main road I was a little concerned about my selection but must say we were very pleasantly pleased with our room and stay. The room was very large, clean and had everything you would need for a short or longer stay. The location is close driving distance to the ocean and tourist areas. There are some restaurants and shopping within walking distance but we opted to eat and explore more in the historic area and along the water.

A nice motel. The walk to Oamaru's Victorian Precinct was a little longer than I would have preferred, but otherwise I had no problem. The guest laundry was useful.

arge room with king-size bed, kitchen facilities and a spa bath. Delightful! Easy walk to the Victorian area of town and to the blue penguins colony. Good value for the price.

We were only able to have a one night stay at this property. We would have liked to stay longer. Wonderful accommodation and Paula was an excellent host. This motel is a short walk from the Victorian precinct and other popular sightseeing spots in Omarau. Our room was very comfortable , very clean and very quiet. We did not hear any noise from other guests in the nearby rooms.
