The Space:

The property offers several common areas, including: reception area, parlor with a sitting area, fireplace and pool table, large front porch (new in 2026), 2 screened in porches, library (2nd floor), roof top deck, premium vending machine for 24 hour snacks, water refill station (hot and cold), kitchen and dining room. The property also offers access to the inground pool, sauna, Silver Lake dock with deck and floating dock.



Guest Access:

You'll have private access to your suite, including the bedroom and full bathroom. Enjoy shared access to the communal pool, hot tub, and outdoor seating areas. The property also offers amenities like a boat slip, access to the beach, and free parking. You'll receive a door code and access instructions before you arrive.

Nestled in the heart of Ocracoke Village, The Castle Inn offers unparalleled access to the best of the island. A leisurely stroll or quick bike ride will take you to a variety of charming shops, delicious dining options, and the picturesque harbor. Getting Around:

The Castle Inn is right in the middle of Ocracoke Village, making it super easy to get to everything. You can walk around the village or hop on a bike to check things out. Public transport is kinda scarce on Ocracoke Island, but the village is totally walkable. Plus, there's free parking at the inn. The Ocracoke Island Airport (W95) is a quick drive away, and you can catch a ferry to the island from several spots on the mainland. Just know that ferry times can change depending on the route.



Other Things to Note:

Parking for 1 regular sized vehicle (per room) is in the shared parking lot adjacent connected to the property (Lot with pea gravel) Trailers, Boats and oversized vehicles should be parked in the NPS lot.
