The stove/oven was broken. We specifically booked a VRBO to have a fully functioning kitchen, but we could not cook at home. The gas stovetop had 6 burners, 1 seemed to work correctly, but the apparent issue with the other 5 was enough for us to avoid the stove altogether. When igniting any of the other 5 burners, the starter would click on other burners, and gas would be released into the air. Front door mat was filthy. A terrible thing to walk in to. And there was a note asking me to take my shoes off. I thought it was a rude request seeing the state of that rug. The rest of the floors were clean enough, but if you looked in corners or under shelves, it was full of dust and cobwebs and spiders. Dust was everywhere. Kitchen well stocked with cutlery, dishes, pots/pans, serving utensils, etc, but everything very disorganized. Microwave missing turntable roller so heating was uneven. The "replace filter" notification lights came on fridge on day 2, so that is probably in desperate need of replacement.At least half of the blankets and towels had stains on them. Sheets didnt fit beds.Many remotes for the TV but no instructions. When I asked my host how to work the TV, they said they did not know the specific set up. It's a mgmt co, not person.An exposed nail on the floor. Rugs threadbare on edges. DVDs and games very messy. Several sink drains very slow/ not working. Dining chairs extremely rickety. Trash overflowing outside bins. Analog clocks need batteries.
