Manatee & kayak friendly waterfront cottage

Summary:
Relax at this unique tropical canal front house with direct Tomoka River access. Accessible by boat or car with waterway that connects to the Intracoastal. Bring your boat, jet-ski or kayak and dock it at the property. The house is located 10 minutes from Ormond beach and 20 minutes from Daytona Beach. Public boat ramp is within walking distance. This private fully fenced house is located in a quiet neighborhood that explodes with visitors during Daytona bike week with multiple concerts 🌱

The Space:
Tropical oasis nestled in the Daytona/ Ormond beach area directly on the canal that connects with Tomoka River and Intracoastal. Excellent for kayaking and fishing. We currently have 3 single kayaks and 1 tandem kayak available for rent. We supply the life jackets, the paddles and invested in a super easy kayak launch from the floating dock located at the property. This devise is called KayasArm and detailed information about it can be found on YouTube. Cute beach house style decor with tropical wallpaper throughout. Bar top area and soft chairs in the living room with high speed internet was designed as a work friendly space. Remodeled bathrooms are decorated with beach theme artwork and include white towels and toiletries such as soap, shampoo and conditioner. Guest bathroom includes a tub and master bathroom includes a newly remodeled shower.

Master bedroom includes a queen size bed and a huge closet as well as hand painted dresser and night stands and a separate seating/ reading area and overlooks lush tropical landscape.

Another large closet is located in the hallway. Second bedroom, includes two velvet tufted single beds and more tropical decor and another huge closet.

Laundry room includes a full size washer and dryer available for guests’ use.

There is a picturesque seating area directly by the water with cushions stored at the cute little boat house. Seating area includes heavy chairs and a small glass table to enjoy your morning coffee provided by the host. On the right, you’ll find a boat lift. You are welcome to bring your boat, your jet ski or kayak and park it along the dock directly at the property.

There is an additional floating dock with KayaArm system to make it super easy to launch kayaks from the floating dock. I highly recommend kayaking if not directly through us then at the Tomoka Outpost park located minutes from the house. Please see my guidebook for more information about the park and its exact location. We have seen dolphins, manatees and a myriad of different species of birds when kayaking and boating and enjoy collecting shells and driftwood. Also, there is a public boat ramp located two minutes from the house as a alternate way to launch a kayak or a boat.
The backyard includes a fire pit and a two burner grill with grilling utensils stored inside. A seating area with a large dining table and chairs and a lounging area. Beach lounge chairs, table umbrella and basic fishing rods are stored at the adorable boat house by the water.

Lush greenery outside with palm trees and blooming shrubbery complete this tropical oasis designed for our guest to relax, escape from the ordinary and enjoy!

Guest Access:
There is an additional fee of $50 per guest per night in excess of 4 and up to 6 guests. There is also a pet fee of $150.00 for each pet brought to the property up to two under 30 lbs. Bring your boat, jet ski or kayak or rent one from us. Entire house and boat house, beautiful multilevel outside deck. Boat docking for a boat/jet ski available as well.

The Neighborhood:
Residential quiet community, public boat ramp available within walking distance. Beach is a 10-minute drive

Getting Around:
Parking is spacious enough for a boat trailer, jet ski, motorcycle and a couple of cars

Other Things to Note:
Kayaks will only be available upon signing of the waiver and additional fees paid, you must be able to swim in order to rent a kayak. There is an additional fee of $50 per guest per night in excess of 4 and up to 6 guests. There is also a pet fee of $150.00 for each pet brought to the property up to two under 30 lbs.
