Dear Orkneylodge Guests, Thank you for your wonderful review. We cant wait to see you back again to enjoy once more. Our Super King Bed with beautiful quality bedding. Fluffy beach towels size sheets. Excellent views of twelve Orkney Islands and our well cared for garden and ponds with fountains that the swallows play with the water. Beautifully decorated rooms with new interiors. Lovely teas and coffees and Orkney biscuits and home made bakes. Two luxury leather reclining chairs with also leather foot stools to match. Location on the road between Kirkwall and Stromness, very close to the Houton Bay Ferry pier (to Hoy & South Isles). Great views of Houton bay, Scapa Flow & Flotta. Good continental style breakfast with fresh red fruits. Friendly hosts. Family room for 4 was spacious enough for us.

Ingen kafe på dette hotellet

Relativt ny bygning med enkel innredning. Ingen kafe som angitt på Hotels.com sin side. 15-20 min kjøring til nærmeste spisested. Frokost serveres KUN mellom 08.00 og 08.30. Vertskapet var ikke begeistret for kunder som hadde bestilt "via Expedia".

Sehr geehrte Orkneylodge Gäste, Wir hoffen jedoch, dass sie bei Ihrer Reiseplanung weiterhilft. Unser Personal nach dieser Zeit wollte nicht, um Ihnen zu dienen wegen der Behandlung, die Sie unsere Mitarbeiter war sehr schlecht. Wir sind kein Hotel. Wir haben Sie bei der Ankunft mitgeteilt. Wir haben dich gefragt, ob du es vorziehe, irgendwo anders zu bleiben. In der Tat der Besitzer von Orkneylodge telefoniert Expedia über Sie und Sie Unhöflichkeit für unsere Mitarbeiter. Wir sind nicht werben wir haben eine Bar oder ein Restaurant. Wir hatten auch Probelmen mit Ihnen Überschwemmung unserer en-suite von Ihnen eine persönliche waschen. Dann lassen Sie die Wäsche auf das Erdgeschoss fallen nicht die Dusche. Wir mussten den Teppich shampooten und wir mussten das Zimmer zu den nächsten Gästen schließen, um den Schaden zu reparieren, den du in unseren Räumlichkeiten gemacht hast. Alles in allem haben wir die Besten mit dir gemacht. Wir haben noch nie in 16 Jahren Dienst für unsere Gäste treffen eine so schlechte Person Person jemals. Vielen Dank für Ihre Bewertung. Clean and tidy

Pour : Breakfast.
Contre : Re-opening the Bar and providing an evening meal.
Emplacement : On the edge of the beach, walking and bird watching, otherwise a car is a necessity.
We were satisfied with the accommodation, apart from the handbasin being in the room rather than the ensuite. Breakfast very good but available only from 8:15 to 8:45 am. No bar nor any food at other times. Reception only staffed in early morning .More like a B&B than an hotel. Very convenient for the ferry to Hoy.

Thank you for your review. Breakfast was not in your meal plan. You paid for room only. Your Complimentary Buffet Breakfast was Free. We do not advertise that we serve food at any times. We do not advertise that we have a bar restaurant or that we serve breakfasts. We are like other lodges accommodation only that we advertise. So wifi and Continental Buffet Breakfasts are Free to our guests. Kindest Regards

A Lovely Bed and Breakfast

Management and staff were super friendly and helpful, kept everything in tip-top condition. Arranged transportation, introduced us to other guests, went to bat for us with auto rental company.

Ideal zum Erkunden von Mainland

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Linda ist eine hervorragende Gastgeberin. Es gibt zwar kein Scottish Breakfast, aber trotzdem eine schöne Auswahl an Zutaten, so dass man genauso satt wird. Man kann alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut erreichen. Das Zimmer war groß, gemütlich eingerichtet und hatte sehr gute Betten.
