Was hoping for lake view but had partial vineyard view which was serene & worked out fine. The property is up on the hill so do need a vehicle but nice to be away from the busyness of town. The staff & food at the restaurant was exceptional!!!! Would highly recommend staying at this property.

Absolutely love the property- the suite, the pools, the cultural centre, and the winery. The only thing they could improve is the fitness centre, in addition to weights more equipment including an exercise ball and workout bench would be helpful.

Pros - we loved having breakfast every morning in the restaurant. The cost was included in our stay and well worth. The staff were friendly. The views of the lake are lovely. Cons - the rooms are in serious need of updating. Our bed sagged significantly in the middle, the couch was worn, the dining chairs were in need of repair (ripped and worn). The fitness room is very small and has minimal equipment. I would stay here again and try another room if I there was a good rate but if all rooms are the same condition it is definitely not worth the price.

The hotel staff and location are excellent! We enjoyed both restaurants and the service was very good. The only criticism I have is that the cushions on the loungers around both pools need to be cleaned or replaced and also the cushions on the restaurant chairs need the same. They are stained and tired out.

Overall the property was nice and we enjoyed our stay. Very quiet location and unbearable view. However, the service wasn’t on par with my expectations for this price point. The restaurant did not open for breakfast until 8:00 am (unusually late for a hotel) and there was no drinks service available at the pool apart from a short period on only one day. It’s clear that you have substantially reduced staffing for the shoulder season but this was certainly not disclosed when we booked. There was also a large corporate group staying at the hotel and clearly preference was given to those guests (for example the rooftop patio was blocked for their exclusive use one evening we were there). I won’t be rushing back.

Visit Spirit Ridge!

We had a lovely time at Spirit Ridge. Exceptionally helpful staff, excellent food at The Bear, The Fish, The Root, The Berry, and our suite was large, roomy with full kitchen and everything you needed to stay a week! Wonderful views of the mountains surrounded us and it was a very relaxing time.
