After booking online, we contacted the hotel directly to confirm parking. At that point, they asked to confirm that we were bringing a small enough car for the parking garage, but were we not informed of construction happening above our room until we had already arrived. Construction started at 7am the next morning with constant banging and scraping preventing a relaxing start to our short family vacation. However, we were all restless already as the curtains wouldn’t close completely, there was a foot gap between the curtains. The sun woke us up bright and early, much to our chagrin. After a day of touring that started earlier than anticipated, we decided to take a quick break at 4:30pm before dinner. We were disappointed to find the constant, loud noise was still happening directly above our room. Needless to say, we didn’t get much rest before giving up and heading out again. It would certainly be beneficial if travellers were informed ahead of time of such disruptions so that alternate accommodations could be sought if they aren’t keen on being awoken at the crack of dawn with no down time until well into the evening.

The Gym and the swimming pool are outstanding. However, the kids play room and the activity room, which has the tennis table, billiard table and foosball table, are dated. Having those facilities makes this hotel very attractive for families with children.

In-room wifi was slow and ended up having to use my phone data to get work done, there was a stain on one pillow that was missed, and a splash of something (food?) on the wall in the corner next to the bed (closest to the bathroom). Otherwise, a good stay.

Staff not very helpful. Common courtesy to offer help when seeing guests struggling with their luggage. 4 or 5 staff just standing there at reception area staring at you as you make your way up. Not what I experience at other hotels.
