Caution due to construction

For being charged over $500 a night this place was under complete construction. Not only were they remodeling multiple floors and hammering, etc.. They were also spray painting white lines around cars in the parking lot and pressure washing the entire time we were there. This was never disclosed and making this reservation and the hotel should’ve taken this into consideration with lower rates and warning customers.

I left early and was not able to get reimbursed for my 3rd day. I decided to leave after I pulled a staple out of my 3 year old daughter’s foot that was left behind after the ongoing construction.

There is no open breakfast it’s all behind the bar area and consisted of a muffin or bagel and a piece of fruit. The service is suppose to begin at 0630 but everything was locked up till 0745 or 0800 the Friday before as told by the front desk. If you’re gonna eat early you’re probably gonna go hungry! I was given a Platinum Status Card for a free breakfast due to the kitchen not being open until 0745. I ordered and when I presented the card I was advised that the card only covered the so called free breakfast. Before I could change it over he stated he would take care of it and make it work. I was billed, $26 for the food! The advertisement also shows a pool which there is not. You have to pay $8 a day just to park in their have empty parking lot. The tub faucet leaked, there is no fan in the bathroom so everything gets wet from a hot shower the sink faucet was also hooked up backwards and the toilet was not secured to the floor very good. Very disappointed with this property. Do not recommend! 2.1 stars.

Front desk attendant was very polite and professional. The hotel was a disaster. Massive construction and renovations throughout the hotel. Should have been closed during renovation. Didn’t tell us about the renovation until the day before check in. No access to pool. We will never stay here again. Disgusted the we paid for 2 nights and our check in time was delayed.

I was at first dismayed to see that there was extensive renovating going on at the hotel, because I feared loud construction noise. But I was pleasantly surprised. We got one of the brand new rooms that had just been remodeled and it was very clean and nice. And with the help of the option of a constant AC fan, I had the quietest night I have ever spent in a hotel in my life. Comfy bed too!

Intensive Remodel underway

This property is undergoing a very intrusive remodeling where all but the third floor is shut down. The elevators are a mess and my room had dirty handprints on all the doors. I was very disappointed that the status of the remodel was downplayed at the time of my reservation. The building is an absolute disaster.,

The location is great! Close to the Square and Oe Miss. We were in town for college orientation so it was great to be right across from campus. The staff were helpful and extremely friendly. Our room was extremely spacious and great for our two teenagers with two TV’s. There was a-lot of construction going on while we were there inside and outside. I understand that’s just part of updating so we were just fine. Would definitely stay again.

The pool water was green and there was no signs that they were doing anything about it and no postings not to go in. The remote control in my room was so covered in gunk we had to use a towel to push the buttons in order to not touch it.
