This place is a gem. It's a d-log structure that was both a bookstore and coffee shop in it's past life. We have remodeled it back into a two bedroom home with a loft, sleeping a total of six. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed. There is a futon in the loft area with a full sized 10" foam mattress that very comfortably sleeps two more. Upstairs you will also find an office nook with a desk. WI-FI is on site.
The kitchen features a gas range, dishwasher and all of the dishes and cookware you will need to feed your crew. We keep basic oils and spices on hand so that you don't have to buy a cart full of staples in order to cook delicious meals. There is also a gas grill available for you to use.
The living room is cozy and very relaxing with a leather sectional, the most comfortable rocking chair that you will ever sit in and a roku tv. The bathroom features a shower stall and a barn wood vanity with a vessel sink.
It was an awesome house that has literally everything you need . The host was incredible and even set up a kennel for my dog which came in so handy . Nice front porch with Mountain Viewâs. It was in walking distance of everything .
Communication and check in were very easy. It was summer, and a little warm upstairs but there are a lot of fans. Unfortunately the main road in town was undergoing major renovation so the traffic was jammed up. You can hear traffic from the main road at the house. Overall a good experience. Very clean with a lot of towels. Nice front porch.
Lovely home and great location next to downtown. Great supplies in the kitchenâall we needed to prep our groceries for a few meals. Perfect room setup for us, and the loft space gave us a little extra room for painting and reading.
The neighborhood of this unit was nice for walking our dog and in great proximity to groceries, gas station, and the springs. The layout of the home requires one to climb wooden steep stairs to the bedrooms (without a 2nd floor bathroom) so plan on sleeping on the couch if you can't climb them. The TV and internet access was excellent. The kitchen set up was great and the hot water in the shower felt fabulous.
Very cozy cabin and had everything we needed. All of the extras (spices, coffee, bathroom soaps, laundry detergent) were all nice and came in handy. Great location to downtown and the hot springs. Will definitely be back again next year!
Fabulous place!! Loved the decor! Pictures didnât do it justice. Probably the best appointed rental Iâve ever stayed in. All the spices one might want, fully outfitted kitchen. Very cozy and comfortable. Great location, walk to hot springs. Though close to the Main Street it is well insulated so very quiet. Ohea was a wonderful host, very responsive. Bed was very comfortable. Loved the shower. I would definitely stay again!!
From the rental we were able to walk to several shops, grocery stores and restaurants. Easy to get to and centrally located. Some highlights were Wild Finch restaurant and Root House for coffee/quick breakfast with the dogs. We enjoyed ourselves.
Really thoughtfully appointed and comfortable. The only problem we had was the noise from the heater but the listing states itâs Rustic, so it wasnât unexpected. We highly recommend to anyone looking for a Colorado experience. Loved it!
This was the coziest little cabin and located conveniently near the lower shops of Pagosa. My family walked to the coffee shop and then walked along the and shops. It was quiet and private. The cabin was stocked with good amenities and we had everything we needed to prepare food. There isnât anything Iâd change about this place.
