One night stay in Palm Springs

Photos in listing were not accurate as the furnishings were different and actually left us with one less "bed" and sleeping space. Be aware there is no "twin futon" or a sleep-able couch available in the living room. Other than that the house gave us what we need for the night which was a place to sleep. Otherwise nothing special.

Completely misleading information and pictures

I have a list of 35 complaints that won't fit on this review. I have all the pictures to back it up. Filthy, horrible furniture, pool table was disgusting with food, cigarette burns and stains all over it. Pictures in listing are completely misleading. Outdoor furniture is not the same, no hammock, different chase lounges etc. Neigborhood behind house is a slum. I have a claim going with VRBO because it was so bad. Never used the pool because it was either 50 degrees or 100 degrees! Unbelievable. Asking for a refund. I wil see where this goes. I've never had a worse experience on VRBO. Very dissappointing. Not a wash cloth in the house. No plastic cups or dishware for pool area. Interior walls beat up and scraped. Sliding door barely opens. Sleeps 12 and they had 4 rolls of cheap toilet paper. Towels were thin cheap and crusty. BBQ grease all over patio because the grill was missing the drip tray. Couch had hole letting stuffing out and was completely worn out. Windows filthy. Dryer didn't work.Grease stains above microwave that peeled paint off ceiling in a15"x 15" square. Overall, not what the pics showed and it's hardly PRISTINE! College frat house is what it is.

Very disappointing.

It was very dirty, not only was it dirty when we got there, but the curtains, floor, walls were very dirty. the pool was dirty too. I would have appreciated if the owner would have made an attempt to compensate me because of all of these things, but did not.

The Coronavirus Brings Out The Best Of Humanity

Our group of 11 from Canada never have the chance to stay at Mr. James Burrows’s vacation home for 4 nights due to the restriction of travelling resulting from the Coronavirus. Though Mr. Burrows has all the rights to keep our “non-refundable” payment in full but he chosen not to do so! Instead he followed the advice of VRBO’s President and the spirit of the VRBO family for providing our group 4 alternative dates in the future. We deeply appreciated his action even though he might have to take a loss to do so. We are all looking forward to meet him in person and thank him personally. 👍👍👍👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏

Our group of girlfriends had a great time. Property worked well for everyone. Pool area is perfect to hang out in. The only drawback was being on the flight line for landing planes, but we even got used to that. We would rent again the next time we visit Palm Springs.

Our group of 6 adults and 3 small children had a great time here. Heated pool and spa were amazing, inside and outside areas were nice. Furniture comfy, although the master bed was incredibly squeaky! My twins were sleeping across the room in pack and plays and I was terrified to move because I didn’t want to wake them! The street we were on was nice, but the neighborhood was mediocre. No problem, everything we wanted for our family vacation was a short drive away. Kitchen had sufficient dishes and cookware (we cooked in almost every night). Overall we were very pleased! And communication with management was fast, easy and friendly.

Sweet house with all that we needed and more!

James was super helpful in the check in process, and very informative instructions were left in binder on kitchen counter. rooms were nice, and beds were comfy. Fully supplied kitchen and bbq came in handy as we cooked a good handful of meals. Pool was great and hot tub was awesome to have at the end of each day. I would highly recommend this house, and would look to stay here again on future visits. THANKS!

Fun spot to stay

Property was as advertised. The pool was nice. We had a large group that came in from all over CA to celebrate a Birthday. The house is spacious and was comfortable. It is close to the Airport and shopping centers. Gave a 4/5 on cleanliness only because the tile floors needed to be mopped. We were walking around barefoot the first night and our feet were dirty in a short time. Also the neighborhood is a little sketchy. The immediate street is nicer and the Nieghbor’s to the left and right but the street behind the house has some run down houses. The pool table was fun and was great to play on.

Jacuzzi heats up very quick n hot and the pool area was perfect. Plenty of seating outside and had Apple TV for streaming tv. Everything worked and the owner was prompt in answering my questions. Nice quite neighborhood too. We would stay there again

Fabulous house and even better back yard

The property was terrific. The yard was great. Plenty of room to spread out. Everything James described was accurate and the pictures do not do the house justice. The house was in a very safe neighborhood and close to everything we needed. The only item to point out to others, there was only one television in the living room, none in the bedrooms and limited viewing choices. Otherwise, it was everything we needed and more. Will reserve and stay here again next year.
