The property is pretty nice, and the breakfast is great as well. I liked the closeness to the beach and the shopping and entertainment nearby that we could walk to.

If I come back to the area, would definitely stay here again. Didn't give 5 stars for cleanliness because the shower was dirty and you can tell it's not being scrubbed, specifically, the caulk at the bottom of the shower. It wasn't quite moldy, but it was totally discolored. All of the amenities in the shower were empty - had to request them to be refilled. Things I wish I'd known: It was loud considering a lot of families with small kids. The pool was packed with so many kids every day. No knock on that - just wasn't expecting that (couple's vacation). There is an iRobot sort of vacuum that runs through the hallways. It is loud. It woke us up every day and would sometimes get stuck by our door. Wish they'd program that thing to run in the afternoon or late morning. No biggie as I'm an early riser, but a bit annoying. I thought this hotel had beach accommodations. That was my bad. It's a literal walk across the street to the beach. If you want to rent 2 chairs and an umbrella, it's $50 cash or $55 with a card. I didn't realize this at all. They (the hotel or the chair company) do not provide beach towels. Again, that was on me to know. The breakfast was nice and had lots of options. Get there early because it will be packed. The staff was super kind, friendly. It's a cool place. Give it a try.

Booked ocean view room through Expedia, got to the hotel and the lady proceeded to argue with me over it. I had to get to a supervisor to actually get the ocean view. Craziest thing I’ve ever seen.

"Not for Couples"

This hotel was okay but not for the money we paid. We loved the variety for breakfast and the evening reception with free drinks. We were on our 30th anniversary trip and I would not recommend this hotel for a couple getaway. This hotel is more for families with children & pets. The noise at the pool was annoying at times, especially at night because people were there past pool hours. We had a balcony room w/ ocean view but we saw mostly the pool. The bed was kinda hard & pillows were too soft. The air conditioner kept going off, but that was due to the balcony door not closing properly due to it being off track. It will not turn on if doors are open.. We told the front desk and maintenance came to fix it the first day after another couple told us they moved from the room before we got there due to that problem. I originally chose this hotel because it was fairly new. I don't think pets should be allowed to walk anywhere in the hotel and especially not where people are eating. The staff was helpful and great customer service.

Several degraded items, phones hanging from a screw, fire extinguisher box ripped off the wall, the AC seemed to be broken by the bar area, and the door on the northwest side of the building is not functioning properly. The free drinks should be drinks of your choice not just some random beer and punch. But it was free so it was better than nothing! Overall I’d say it was a 4 out of 5. Great breakfast! Great service, just hard to keep up the facility that size I’m sure. Just my $.02 Thank y’all!

Very nice resort. Great pool area and right across the street from the beach. Also near many shops and dining options. Great staff. One complaint is that there was a constant odor of marijuana in the halls elevator near our room.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. The lobby, bar and breakfast area were extremely warm the entire week. The breakfast was great if you could get past the omelet guy being a jerk. Cocktail hour was decent if you could get past being warm while drinking your drink and eating your snack mix. The pool was beautiful, 3ft deep at the deepest point, very murky water, and sooo many kids we never found a lounger or space to chill in the pool. We are pool lovers but didnt spend any time at this pool. Location was great and right next to pier park and across the street from the beach..no cross walk just had to jot across. Laundry situation was the worse thing about the hotel..2 washer and 2 dryers neither worked well and after a horrid 3 hour experience , calling the front desk twice with no help offered i left with wet sour smelling clothes from the machines not working properly and it charged my card 6 times for the experience..seriously ridiculous! I give this hotel an overall meh rating..
