Stunning view from the balcony!

We enjoyed the kitchen and balcony quite a bit, but otherwise did not spend a lot of time inside the house.
The property is not pet friendly, but the beach is very much so. We love dogs so we did not mind it at all.
Military planes were flying over twice a day during our stay, about 10am and 5pm. My husband loved it; for me it was a bit too loud at times.
Bring your own umbrella and folding chairs.
Great clean and comfortable place!

Best Condo on the Beach
Posted May 13, 2024 on HomeAwayWe love staying at the Polynesian Village and this is our favorite condo. 206 is very clean, comfortable and stocked with all the essentials.
The owner is wonderful as she let us reschedule last minute due to a death in the family.

Easy Access to the Beach!
Posted Apr. 16, 2024 on HomeAwayThis is our first time staying at Polynesian Village. We usually stay in a high-rise and this is far better. The easy access to our car and the beach was amazing. We stayed on the second floor (beach side, not across the street), which was not a problem for us (there isn't an elevator). There is a pool, it is located across the street with the other units.
This unit is great for 2 people. If you are considering more, just know you'll be "close" together.
The unit itself was pretty clean, I have very high standards when it comes to cleanliness. I replaced the plastic shower curtain because the one there was covered in soap scum and some mildew. This wasn't a big deal to me, I was going to the store anyway (cost me $3). Due the humidity and the carpet, there is a slight musty/mildew smell. This was not bad at all, but if you're picky, that may bother you. The couch wasn't great, the cushions kept sliding out/off. The bed is firm, but not bad. The sheets had a few small holes. When taking the sheets off before we left, the mattress pad definitely needed to be placed (many stains).
There is onsite coin laundry (2 washers $2.25, 2 dryers $2.00), so take quarters if need to do laundry.
Bottom line- would I stay here again, yes. There wasn't anything that was a deal breaker for me. We spent most of our time on the beach and balcony. However, if you are picky, this may not be the place for you.

Tammy, I am so sorry for all this. The one thing we have always taken pride in is the cleanliness of the unit. That apparently has fallen. Rest assure these issues will be addressed with our cleaning company. Thank you for pointing these things out to us.

Posted Apr. 7, 2024 on HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay this year. The downside of it was the cable not working properly when we got there, the water pressure was not good and there is/was mold on the walls and ceiling in the bathroom. Luckily none of my family members are allergic.

Thank you for your 5 star review in spite of the issues we did have. I appreciate your reaching out to us upon your checkin about the cable. We were able to get a temporary fix quickly since the office was still open. As to the mildew on the ceiling, the unit had been closed up for a month and we should have had the cleaning company inspect the unit prior to your arrival, to check and make sure all was in order. I sincerely apologize for not having done this. It will be done in the future. Again, thank you for your review. We truly appreciate your having chosen our unit to stay and look forward to having you again in the future.

Great place and location
Posted Jan. 1, 2024 on HomeAwayWonderful time. Beautiful view of fireworks. Coach was a little uncomfortable. A touch musky smell. Although, Cleanliness was above excellent! Kind of wish they had elevators to second floor. Didn’t mind the stairs except in loading and unloading suitcases etc. people next door were smoking on the balcony last night so we had to distance ourselves in porch. Thank you for allowing us to stay. Would do it again.

Enjoyable
Posted Oct. 28, 2023 on HomeAwayWe like quiet and relaxing places. This is the place (as long as it’s not Thunder Beach time). Being right on the beach with access to the pool across the street is great. You can walk down to Pier Park in about 5 minutes. Walmart is also only about a 5 minute drive.
