Room are very good size next to pool. Pool is well maintained only issue is WiFi, it’s very slow only able to use without freezing is late night to early morning. It definitely needs updating.

This hotel was very clean and the staff was very nice. When we checked in they gave us a glass of coconut water. There’s a cute coffee shop and restaurant right next door as well. It’s not too far from the main shopping area. Maybe 5 min walk. We rented a motorbike cause we were lazy. They also had a pool table, fooseball, ping pong, bar, restaurant, and pool on the first floor. It felt very homey. They also had hot shower water that stayed hot. Some hotels lose hot water quick. Every room has a balcony as well. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re on a budget and want a nice and clean place.

Bohol Trip

Fantastic place. Staff is wonderful and very accommodating. Rooms are clean, A/C works great, pool is nice, breakfast is large and reasonable, only complaint is distance to beach is far and no transport to beach.

Hotel had old towels, dirty sheets, cheap bed and old bathroom. Also this hotel is NOT ON THE BEACH.

Fabulous place to stay

Lovely clean hotel with large rooms, balconies and aircon.5 minute walk to a lovely sandy beach with plenty of bars and restaurants. Lovely staff at the hotel and the food was of a very high standard. Great pool too. I would definitely stay here again .

Decent budget option near alona beach

Alona Vida has 2 properties, one right on the beach. This one is a bit away but not too far. Rooms were decent size and clean, bathrooms were strictly OK and had a pungent smell. There was a construction right opposite so the noise was quite loud, we struggled to sleep beyond a point and basically spend most of the time outside (though construction may get over soon). Staff was friendly and responsive. Free breakfast which was edible, gave rest of the meals a pass.

Alona Beach Hill Resort

We chose this location because of it's proximity to the beach. We were very pleased with the amenities and the service. The food in the surrounding area was excellent. The property is in new condition and the rooms are very spacious and clean. This was a great find and would recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy Alona Beach.

Working staff are courteous and friendly. A nice cozy place to stay in. 10mins walking away from the beach and restaurants but no problem bout it so you can tour the area.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was very good in my opinion. The only drawback is that it is about a 10-15 min walk from the beach, but I was not able to book a place closer to the beach, so that is why I booked here. It is near all the shops and services on the main road which is convenient.

Very nice place, clean with exceptional staff.

My family enjoyed two rooms at this hotel, my father downstairs and us upstairs. Both rooms very clean and had everything required for a comfortable stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the complimentary breakfast was more than adequate. The location of the hotel is around a 10 minute walk to the beach past various restaurants and bars. While not right on the beach the resort is centrally located. One thing the resort does need to focus on is inconsiderate guests with young children using the pool. Despite the pool closing at 10pm children continued to use the facility and screaming around the gardens until 11pm with no care to other guests trying to sleep. Perhaps better signage around the pool area would better inform inconsiderate families! Despite this we enjoyed our stay at the Alona Vida Beach Hill Resort.
