Nice cosy,clean and comfortable,hotel.Great location for the Gare du Nord,whether arriving on Eurostar or from an airport. Nice helpful staff.Good breakfast.Nice to come back to the room after a day of sightseeing.

Lo unico bueno es la cercania con la estación gare du nort. Fue una experiencia mala. Eso de que hay ratas en paris.... bueno, nos salio una en la habitación! Todo un show!, terrible. El desayuno, terrible. Lo habian dejado de poner, y solo improvisaron pan duro, con un solo croissan y lo que habia en la maquina de cafe. El staff, amable... pero poco podian hacer con lo que tenian. No vuelvo.

It's convenient and cheap for a reason. The room, bed, and shower were fine. Breakfast was terrible. I didn't know what the meal was supposed to be. The croissants were burnt and the fruit salad looked tired.

Don’t dare show up before 3pm

We arrived extremely early, we went to the hotel who obviously told us there’s no rooms ready which of course was fine with us but when asked if we can leave our bags in the hotel because we had 2 Buisness meetings they told us NO, they actually had the cheek to tell us to go back to the eurostar station and pay for our bags to be kept there we had to go to 2 meetings with our bags which was inconvenient especially as our stay was only for 1 night and we paid £ 89 considering we left the room at 4.15am. We stayed in many hotels in Paris and never nobody treated us the way the 2 day men receptionists did, we asked very politely but got arrogance out of them. We checked in at around 11pm and my god the night receptionist was very very nice, Picardy hotel needs this kind of staff the whole day, this hotel is so convenient being just across Eurostar, pity the day staff are not fit for purpose but we will stay again bearing in mind not to ask to leave our luggage and not show up before 3 pm as they do so well to remind people. Other than that we had a good 4 hours sleep. Thanks again to the lovely night staff who speaks English very well and was so pleasant.

You get what you pay for, it is not the hotel fault that it is very loud outside but they could amend the faulty light switch in the room we stayed as as we arrived late and only one small light was working in the room and it was hard to see anything. No aircon at all. They could also potentially look into having a luggage storage for early arrivals or late leavers as we had to pay extra to store our bags at the train station until we could check in. That being said fifty quid for a basic room is what you get.
