Best outdoor spaces

The bedrooms are all very spacious and the house truly can accommodate the described guest numbers. The outdoor space is very nice and we spent as much or more time on the deck as the beach. Extremely easy beach access and in a much quieter stretch of beach between the busier state park and Litchfield by the sea.

Annual beach trip

The property was great. The huge picnic table was great for our shrimp boil and the location was awesome. Another great feature were the beds
..very comfortable. The only thing that we had a problem with was the TV service. We brought a fire stick so we used it in the great room. The other tvs did not have live tv as an option. If they did we could not figure it out. Also , with such a large group, the coffee maker should be better. We would definitely book again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The home is beautiful and had plenty of rooms/bathrooms for everyone. The kitchen was super spacious and had everything we needed. Having 2 washer/dryer sets was a huge blessing. We’d definitely stay here again.

6 Stars! Amazing home and location!

This home was everything and MORE than we expected! Beautiful beach front and 5 Large bedrooms each with their own full modern baths. Seriously a 6 STAR rating out of 5. We are already talking about returning. vacation was for my wife and I, with our 3 adult children and their better half's. We can not say enough. Fully stocked modern kitchen. room for all of us and could have had many more people and not felt crowded. THANKS!

The kind of house you come back to


This was a really GREAT house - and we have stayed at a bunch on Pawleys! Very comfortable, spacious, well stocked, attractive decor, and fantastic deck!! Would definitely stay in this house again! The only frustration was the WiFi went out (possibly due to heavy storms and a close lightning strike) but since we were out at the beach all day once the storms passed, we didn’t notice it wasn’t working until later in the day (and after the office closed, of course). We saw the router light behind a locked louvre closet door, but were unable to reset it because of the lock and didn’t want to pay the fee for an after hours call. Since we left the next day, we didn’t have WiFi for some of our stay and some in our group needed to work. Slightly frustrating. But overall, a wonderful vacation had by all!

Wonderful vacation home

We just left and can not wait to go back. This house was perfect for my husband and I, our 6 and 9 year old daughters, and my mother and father in law. Plenty of room for everyone with room for more. The house was so comfortable and had everything we needed. It was close to everything we wanted to do. And that view.......what more can you say? Wow! The beach area out in front was not crowded. We felt like we had our own private beach. The beds were comfortable, there were extra blankets for the cool nights, and eveything was nice and clean. Will stay here again for sure!

Family Brookgreen Gardens weekend

This house is amazing! Our family of 13 stayed at this house for an extended weekend. There was plenty of room for all of us to sit comfortably in the living room. The upstairs area was perfect for our teenagers and young adults. We went to the Night of a Thousand Lights at Brookgreen Gardens and the house was conveniently located to the gardens. The outside deck area is huge and leads right to the beach. We will definitely be looking to stay here again.

Fantastic Home and Location

Our extended family of 9 from AZ stayed for a week to attend a wedding. The location is absolutely perfect with the house being right on the beautiful beach, with a huge deck and outdoor space. The home is spacious and perfect with every bedroom having its own bathroom. The extra sitting area upstairs was nice for the teenagers in our group to get away on their own. The ping-pong table in the garage was a welcome surprise. The home was adequately supplied with dishes and kitchen appliances and utensils. My only recommendation to make the home more enjoyable is to provide a small supply of toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags for the week. Having beach towels would have also been nice since we arrived by plane and didn't want to travel with them, so we had to buy them once we arrived. But other than those suggestions, our stay was wonderful and I highly recommend the home.

Friend’s Getaway

Beautiful property and exceptional ocean front location. Bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of space. We each had our own room and bathroom with 1 to spare. Kitchen was well equipped . The only complaint is with the televisions. There were plenty of TV’s but they all worked differently and it was very confusing trying to operate them. Printed instructions in each room would be very helpful. Ideally, they would all be on the same system. We did appreciate having the Tennis Channel on 2 of the sets, but none were in shared areas. Overall it was a great experience and would love to return.

Wonderful House in a great location

This house was great and we all really enjoyed it. Spacious kitchen was amazing with everything we needed. The only thing was that the description said beach chairs but there was only one. You have to rent the beach chairs, umbrellas and that sort of thing.

Beautiful home and location but...

We really enjoyed our stay here. The home is clean and beautiful, and the location is wonderful. However, there are a few issues we had (and we've seen some mentioned in other reviews). Knowing that these issues aren't being addressed was a bit disappointing. * The main issue is with the TVs in the house. Aside from the master, the rest of the TVs are IMPOSSIBLE to understand or use. Most of my family had to watch TV on their laptops. A simple set of instructions would be very useful for guests. * I was excited to use the jetted tub in the master, but it didn't work. * There was a large crack in one of the upstairs sliding glass doors. * The doors to the bedrooms downstairs don't close properly due to settling so you have to shut them hard and pull them hard to open them. * The beds are not comfortable. For a house in this price range, that was also disappointing. Aside from those issues, we enjoyed our stay!

Great location & perfect for large family or a couple families!

The house was perfect for our annual Labor Day trip with a group of friends and their families. Plenty of room to spread out, easy beach access, huge deck! We would definitely stay there again!
