Area Attractions:

Visit the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk for shopping dining, live music, swimming or strolling down the boardwalk. The Shell, an iconic Pensacola Beach landmark is at the heart of the boardwalk. Stop by for live music in the summer!

Fort Pickens is part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore and is a historic moment from the 1800s. Kids will love wandering this historical fort from the American Revolution.

Downtown Pensacola is full of shopping dining and history. In its heart is the Palafox Pier Harbour marina. Catch a Pensacola Blue Wahoos minor league baseball game or an Ice Flyers hockey game. Make sure to get a selfie with one of the many pelican statues spread throughout downtown.

Pensacola Beach includes two artificial reef systems for snorkeling. Park East is located about 1.4 miles east of Portofino on Pensacola Beach. The reef is located 500 ft. off shore and attracts a wide variety of fish, sea turtles and all kinds of gulf wildlife.

Pensacola is home to the Blue Angels, the U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron. Pensacola Beach
hosts an air show each July and there’s a show over the Naval Air Station each November.

We came to Pensacola to enjoy the beach and watch the Blue Angels show. We actually booked this condo only two weeks before our trip - somebody else had cancelled, so we were able to snag it. The condo was nicely furnished and decorated. The appliances worked great. A couple things we didn’t love - the shower liner doesn’t magnet to the tub so it kept hitting us while in the shower, and the floors were constantly sandy and dirty. The second one might just be a beach house thing, but we kept using the bath mat to wipe off our feet before getting into bed. Rugs would have been nice, but I don’t live by the beach so I’m not sure how they would do with all the wear and tear.For a Pensacola beach trip this place was great and we would consider staying again. For the Blue Angels show, it was a 2.5 mile walk each way because the free trolleys they advertise get stuck in the island traffic. Luckily we didn’t mind the long walk. :) Hardly any traffic down on the east side where this property is. One little shop is right across the street that sells basic pantry items and snacks, as well as a coffee and sandwich bar. Bit pricey but was nice in a pinch! The walk to the beach is about 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile. Not bad at all, and parking was easy for us.

There's no way to sleep

First of all, we are four members. We thought there will be 1 bed and 1 sofa bed because it was written on the site(Also the ocean view).But I wanna ask that: WHERE IS THE SOFA BED??? ALSO WHERE IS THE OCEAN VIEW...There was just some sofas and no sofa BED.Also it was really difficult to lock/open the door. There was no manual to lock the door so we tried to lock the door in several ways and finally got the exact way to lock it at the last day.Plus, the view is exactly swimming pool view.

Condo needs maintenance — patio door lock broken & other door difficult to work. Areas need yellow paint to avoid miss step or falls. Proximity to beach is great. Lots of rules regarding departure when you’re being charged a hefty maid fee.

Condo was wonderful after the first one(same company) wasn’t very good, Pensacola Beanch properties was wonderful, and took care of us very nicely Vrbo customer services leaves a lot to be desired however. After showing the pictures in the first condo, Vrbo said it was “Up to our standards,” yet it wasn’t up up the property’s company’ standards, and they were on the spot, on a Sunday, and treated us great. The person at Vrbo didn’t give a damn about us, or the issue at hand. Pensacola Beach properties and Tracy? FANTASTIC! I’d give her and them 10 stars. Vrbo? 2 stars at best

Maybe next time

We were disappointed in our unit. It had not been thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival and we took several pictures and forwarded them to management. They apologized and offered to send a cleaning person over, but to deep clean would have taken hours to a full day
interrupting our stay. The refrigerator door was also covered in rust, and needs to be replaced. Rust stains also in bathtub and mildew on the shower curtain. The list goes on.

Villas by the sea

Perfect location for a low key vacation with the family. Amenities were sufficient. Nice location to the pool and turtle pond. Cons: kitchen utensils were dirty from previous guest. Unit did not have ocean view as was in the listing. Despite those minor details our family greatly enjoyed our stay. We had a great time.

We had a great stay, everything was almost perfect except for the shower, the hot water was on short supply and ran out very quickly. Also the front door was a little tricky as it didn’t want to latch properly.

Long weekend

When we arrived our room had not been cleaned, however, I called the property manager and was promised a $100 credit and given a sincere apology. We went out for dinner and when we came back the place smelled great and was spotless. The instructions were clear and easy to understand. I would stay at this property again. I am disappointed that I have not received any credit yet for the uncleared space. I will contact the property manager again for resolution.

Great Find

The E4 condo was great. Kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The building was a tad hard to find, but only a short walk to the beach. Only issues we had were with the hot water running out, and the door lock was difficult to close/lock. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Loved the Villas on the Gulf! Already looking to plan a trup for October.

The stay was great a little bummed out that there wasn’t a washer and dryer in the condo. Pay machines all the way across the complex and only had 4 towels for 2 people for 5 days so lots of washing. Also doors didn’t automatically lock so you had to constantly relook the doors each time you opened the door and condo was unlocked when we arrived so I assume cleaning staff wasn’t aware of this problem either. Slide lock was missing so you couldn’t keep anyone from entering the condo that may have had the code as well. Could use over mitts and extra blankets in the room as well.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Didn’t realize it was an upstairs unit until arrival. I’m sure I just missed that somehow, but we made it fine. Loved this peaceful beach neighborhood with lake, fountain, ducks, turtles—very cool. Unit is less than 2 blocks from beach. Bathroom could use update — hot water does not last long at all, but would we stay in this unit again? Absolutely! We left 3 chairs, an umbrella, beach toys and a boogie board in closet on deck. Hope that was okay and that future guests enjoy these items. In the words of my 7 year old grandson, “we should really thank the people that have this place, and let us stay here.” So Thank You! Served our needs well.
