A pleasant inn in a tiny village near Encs
Publié le 20 juin 2011 sur HotelsThe inn is conveniently located between three of Hungary's biggest attractions - Tokay, Miskolc and the caves of Aggtelek that lay partly across the Slovak border.
To find it you should leave the motorway at Encs and prepare yourself to cross a handful of other tiny villages driving on bad roads (print a map of the villages just to understand their location beforehand!).
The service was, well... variable, and only one member of the staff appeared to speak English (another one spoke rather weird German).
The room was correct.
Be careful, the restaurant closes at 9 PM, and there aren't really any other ways of eating out in the village. The menu is in Hungarian only, so you may well end up ordering a pizza (delicious, by the way!) or classics like spaghetti carbonara as you won't be able to understand what the other recipes are!

Mixed feelings
Publié le 26 oct. 2020 sur HotelsA very mixed review. The service at the restaurant was very good and personalized. We ate there for dinner and the food was very god. Desserts were good also. The breakfast, included in the room price, was very good- you could order hot food. But, the room was just OK. THere seemed to be part of the construction unfinished- ig just unfinished plywood on teh floor of the balcony. It was a nice wooden interior- no frills but adequate. The room was reasonably clean. But the toilet did not flush properly and clogged. We requested service to unclog the toilet while we were out, but it was not done. Room smelled like an outhouse for the entire night and I had to unclog myself.

Publié le 1 mai 2017 sur HotelsMár ott kezdődött a probléma, hogy erről az oldalról nem érkezett meg a foglalás, így csak a szerencsének volt köszönhető, hogy volt hol aludnunk, mert volt szabad szobájuk.
A foglalás beérkezésének hiányában a fizetéskor az ingyenes reggelit is kiakarták fizettetni, de nálam volt a kinyomtatott megrendelés, így nem volt felár.
A foglalás beérkezésének hiányában az ágyneműk sem voltak felhúzva, este 9-kor fáradtan vártuk a szobalányt
A radiátoron nincs termosztát, a fűtés teljes gőzzel megy, szabályozni nem lehet, éjszaka nyitott ablakkal kel aludni, de szúnyogháló sem volt rajta.
A zuhanyzóban nem folyik le a víz elég gyorsan, így percenként szünetet kell tartani lefolyhasson a víz. Az a kép megvan, hogy mosod a lábad, kilépsz a papucsból, a papucsod meg közben elúszik?
Dohányzásmentes szobát kértünk, de egy óriási, tömény hamutartó szagú szobát kaptunk.
