The cabin was clean! We didnt cook so im not sure about that. The kitchen was big enough to cook a small meal or snacks and was clean. We slept great as it was very quiet. We did take an air mattress because from experience the pullout couches are not comfortable. Loved rocking on the feont porch. Its a little further from entrance at windrock but not an issue. The crooked fork down the road was great for food! The host answered all my questions timely. There is wifi but make sure you save the info before getting there because of no service had to drive back down the road to get service to get the email with the information. Very close to brushy mountain prison. We got a private tour with all the stories!! Absolutely amazing i do recommend 10/10. Dollar general a little ways down the road incase you forget anything you can grab it from there!! We would dtay again!!!

Absolutely adorable! It is “Tiny” that is how it is advertised. Perfect for 2 people. Well appointed kitchen and bathroom. Towels were awesome! Someone posted about sketching neighborhood. It’s Tennessee people. You can have a single wide next to a mansion. Doesn’t make it sketchy! It was quite and felt very safe. There is a close neighbor we meet just once upon arriving. He was very nice and offered for us to let him know if we needed anything. If I were to travel to the area again I would rent again. Only draw back ( out of the hands of the owner) is a very close cell tower that somewhat obstructs mountain view. Trying to convince my husband he needs a similar man cave. Thanks for a great weekend!

The loaring is a little misleading in that the cabin is just next to a workshop in a neighborhood that doesnt feel safe, not some cabin in the woods. The cabin seemed clean until we opened thr cohchthe couch

Perfect Prison Bungalow

WOW! This is the perfect location for a weekend visit to Brushy Mountain Prison!! The tiny house was perfect for 2 people. We were a little concerned about the sofa bed, but WOW it was SO COMFORTABLE. The kitchen was perfect! It was incredibly clean and well organized! Everything down to the PLUSH towels made the stay amazing! Can't wait for a reason to return to Brushy Mountain for another concert. Hopefully the road construction will be complete, but the host warned us so not an issue at all!!! My daughter and I were SO IMPRESSED and highly recommend this property....

Cozy Cabin

We enjoyed our stay in the Cozy Cabin in Petros. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. Contact with the host was great and access to the cabin very east. The location was great too. Close to the things we wanted to check out in the area - Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary and Windrock. We also explored Wartburg and Obed River and ate at a wonderful Italian restaurant in Wartburg, Luciano's. I would recommend that if your in the area. Oh, I can't forget watching fireworks in Oak Ridge - they were great too. Most of all I enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the morning and listening to the birds. The view wasn't the best from that location, but we could see past that to the mountains beyond. We would definitely stay here again or check out the host's other rentals if we come back with friends. Thanks!

Windrock side by side getaway

Last-minute trip to Winrock saved by this little cabin. I usually stay on site in a cabin at Windrock, but they were all sold out, which led me to finding an alternative. I found this particular cabin and had a few questions before my booking. The host was quick to reply and was very accommodating. On arrival it appeared I may have been one of the first to be staying in this location. I’d asked about a grill and a crockpot when planning my dinners and host had both on site and brand new condition. Being there was two of us, me and my buddy we were able to set up an air mattress along with the fold out bed for sleeping. This is a perfect for a couple looking to get away that is close to riding the Windrock Trail system. I had a group that was already staying at Windrock, it was an easy 20 minute run by road in my buggy to meet up with them. The host was exceptional, and everything was as described.
