Clean Comfortable location on the Phoenix Scottsdale border. Bargain! Basic , close to Airport, Papago Park , golf, zoo, and Scottsdale Fashion Square and Old Town Scottsdale. Quiet setting and well kept grounds. Second story/upper level with balcony, . Great location on the Phoenix Scottsdale border.
So close to so much! Beautiful pool and hot tub and grills.
Exercise room, party room and library.
Friendly too! Comfortable and clean and includes cable tv with 3 TVs

Upsetting

There is too many cons for this place. The downstairs neighbor or "manager" of the VRBO will probably harass you as they did us. There was dead and alive insects that were found dead or killed. Expired food in the kitchen. Microwave works the way it wants to.This place is not bright nor peaceful; it is very dim (unless you are opening your windows) with harassment downstairs. The communication was okay. Fine price but too many problems to be worth staying. AC can only go to 72. We left after a few days, the bugs were a serious issue that we did not want to deal with.

I little disappointed. The place needs to be updated. A number of things were not working or were in poor condition, like thermostat for the heater, the toaster, the front door lock, dressers were old (seemed like garage sale stuff), slider when locked had to be unlocked with a screwdriver. Pool and hot tub were great.

Old Rundown unit

This is not a 5 star accomodation, I would give it 2 stars and only because the complex is nice and clean but this unit is crappy. Makes me wonder if the host has had friends write fake reviews. I was booked for 28 days but left after 14 days in disappointment. The host is not a super host, she is non existent and out of state. She refers you to the downstairs neighbor who is not a site manager, just a nice guy. This unit is old and shabby. Everything in it is from the 1980's. The beds are old and like sleeping on plywood and springs. The bedding is polyester and threadbare, pillows flat, main bathroom shower door carroded and tuff to open, ensuite bathroom fan does not work, main bath towel rack broken, lights burnt out, dining room chairs are wobbly and have no cushion left in them, 3 month old expired food in the fridge and cupboards. Im surprised I didnt see mice or cockroaches in the unit. The furnace sounds like a jet engine starting up in the hallway closet. Steer clear of this unit if you want a nice comfortable stay in the Phoenix/ Scottsdale area.

Clean, quiet, but needs upgrades.

Property was clean & quiet. AC unit needs replacement, only goes down to 72 degrees & if you put it on 72 or lower on 102+ degree day it freezes over, manager failed to put a sign up to inform tenants of this issue. The downstairs neighbor is a delight. Overall apartment is warm during day & night. Pool is nice, laundry easy to use & close. Owner is very responsive but issue of AC needs to be addressed.

Great Property Manager

Tastefully decorated, comfortable condo. Property manager right below us was helpful, friendly, and responded quickly. Laundry facility was very close and clean. We felt safe there. Many eating facilities were close by. Grocery store , hair salon, and discount shops were within 2 miles. The reason I gave an overall rating of 4 stars is that the second-floor lanai sliding door doesn't lock and the screen needs replacing. The grounds of the complex are lovely. Though we didn't use the pool, it was conveniently located. We would stay there again.

Great condo and great host!

Close to Camelback Mountain, Arcadia, Scottsdale, and the Phoenix Zoo, this condo worked perfectly for my daughter and I. The first thing that stood out to me was how quiet the complex was. The people I met were all friendly, especially the downstairs neighbor Marty, who is fantastic and a joy to talk to. The condo itself was pretty well stocked as far as the kitchen goes, just not a lot of spices so if you do a lot of cooking you may need to buy some. The beds were very comfortable, and the condo complex has a pool and hot tub that we enjoyed quite a bit. There is also an exercise from with treadmills and weights, and a ping pong table. Communication with the owner was easy and she is very quick to respond. Overall I'd definitely recommend it and would stay here again!

Not worth it. Too expensive and no manager on site.

It had its ups and downs but, for the most part it was ok. We had problems with the AC and the owner wouldn't do a thing about it. Also had problems with our cable and the owner wouldn't do a thing about it. They charged us twice on a small fix. 591 service fee should've paid for that, but they took another 500 from my account. So they doubled it. I'm still hoping to get that 500 back

Host was very disrespectful

We booked this condo from 4/26-5/16 to move to Arizona and find an apartment. We were there 3 days before we were awoke by an unannounced knock at the door by the host to drop off a cookie sheet? Later that day we were again contacted bu the host that she would be by to get dishes and cleaning supplies. The host ignored my text messages through phone and VRBO app. The host lied a couple of times as to why I was ignored. We had to get a motion activated camera to ensure host was not goibg through our belonging while we were out.The harassment continued until we finally left. 10 days early. I filed a harassment case with case number with VRBO. I have been attempting to get a refund for the days we did not stay. Host told me VRBO was in control of the refund. This is def not true. According to VRBO the refund comes directly from host. VRBO emailed host to request a refund and host ignored. Really nice and comfortable little condo but is a shabby part of Scottsdale Az and beware of host harassment. It was not an enjoyable experience. Out over $1000 AND we had to make other living arraignments just to avoid the host harassment. Host was horrible. Condo was nice. Part of town was ghetto.

Great place!

Overall wonderful experience! Great location within 20 miles of many sites in Phoenix. Had everything we needed. Pool and hot tub were great! Did have two small children with us. It is a second floor condo and the lower level neighbors got a little upset about upstairs noise. Probably better suited for adults only.

Perfect for us!

The location is perfect! 20 minute drive to just about anywhere in the city. Very close to Papago park which the kids loved to climb. Camelback is also close but parking is a bit of a nightmare and it’s a little too far to walk since the closer trail is closed right now - ended up using Uber. Old town Scottsdale is only a 5- 10 minute drive. The condo itself was perfect for us! Very clean and literally had everything we needed! Directions for accessing the property was easy and made for a very smooth beginning of our vacation. The pool is heated and my kids loved it but the adults preferred the hot tub! Highly recommend this place to couples with and without kids!

Wonderful stay

This location is ideal with Walgreen and a great breakfast grill in walking distance. The owner responded quickly to any issues or questions for unit. She was very pleasant and answered all text and emails in a timely manner.

Good Location and clean

This furnished apartment is in a really good location. Access to anything you would want or need is no more than a 20 minute drive which was nice. Can see Camelback Mountain from the parking lot and there's a lot of trails near us. Great neighbors who are really friendly. The only thing I would change would be to have better internet access. Had a fun summer staying in this apartment in Phoenix.
