Many very bad things here, and I don’t even send cold food back at a diner. Running water is loaded with salts, undrinkable. I was very sick yet front desk refused to let me buy water - only bringing 4 bottles at a time. Confusing signs / missing my suite number in a very dangerous cliffside property. Tub drain sliced my finger. Single line to front desk, rings forever or is busy. Beautiful place, hazardous to your health.

The pools turn into public pools when they’re not monitored, and you have every poor person from the neighborhood next-door. Seriously it was a nightmare being there.

Changes not for the better

We were disappointed in how much things have changed since out last stay. In room dining is terrible, you might as well just door dash. Adult pool had a very drunk couple that finally passed out on some chairs, security saw them and did nothing. Not sure we will return, this used to be one of our favorite stay-cation resorts.

Trailer Park Status

Been booking Tapatio for years to get away from the latin-Fallujah fireworks in Sunnyslope for years now. This year, those same folks have started staying on property. The adult pool was a mess of children after 8pm, underisable folk with glass beer bottles, cigarettes and loud speakers blaring obnoxious music after 6pm and general atmosphere of a trailer park community pool. They don't issue wristbands at check-in anymore, and that was definitely a clue to what awaited us at the pool. 0

Worst check-in experience of my life, probably 30-50 people in line when we arrived around 4:30.The parking is absolutely horrible, nothing near our room. Our building was at the top of the mountain, and shuttles are supposed to pick you up and take you around the resort, but not once did I get a pickup, requiring us to walk down the mountain many times, including right before our spa appointment. The pools are nice but way overcrowded.
