+++NOW ONLY AVAILABLE UNFURNISHED+++ Our home is situated on a fresh water private recreational boating and fishing lake in the Desert Harbor Lake community of Spinnaker Cove in the heart of Peoria. Peoria is conveniently located 25 minutes northwest of the Phoenix metroplex or to Scottsdale. Peoria’s Spring Training baseball complex is located in the “P83” corridor which is Peoria’s unique restaurant and entertainment district only 5 minutes away on 83rd Ave. Other Spring Training baseball complexes are located 15-30 minutes from our home. Additional major shopping malls, autoplex and entertainment and sports facilities including the The WESTGATE complex where the NFL football State Farm Stadium and the new Desert Diamond Casino which are both located only 10 minutes away. Master bedroom has a king bed, 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and the 3rd bedroom serves as a fully functional office/den and has a trundle bed and couch which converts into a queen bed or two single beds. Gourmet island kitchen fully equipped for all of your “chefs” cooking needs. Our home features every conceivable amenity for your entire families enjoyment. The backyard is on the lake front and features a deep diving swimming pool. Fishing from our private boat dock which houses our 6 person electric drive pontoon boat or take a relaxing cruise on our 46 acre lake to fish and cruise by each of our lake. Great fishing but catch and release only. Fishing gear provided for your enjoyment. The lake has large mouth bass, bluegill as well as several other species and be sure to watch for turtles!!

Desert Harbor

The property was clean and comfortable. It came with a pontoon boat which we used all but three days of our stay, we enjoyed that very much along with our furry pups. Neal and Arlene communicated very well and were overall a delight to deal with.

A cozy, waterfront Arizona oasis

If you love gorgeous sunsets, tranquil waters, outdoor patio dining, backyard fishing and boating, refreshing pool plunges, close-by amenities, and attentive hosts, THIS is the place to stay. Our multi-generational family felt pampered and relaxed during an extended stay at this cozy, waterfront Arizona oasis. Owners Neal and Arlene were incredibly gracious and accessible hosts throughout our visit. Neal responds immediately to your every need great or small--and he brought smiles and laughter along with him during every check in. The huge kitchen is fully stocked to the hilt and the grand dining room is perfect for entertaining. There's a spacious office equipped with a printer and bonus trundle bed. Our favorite space was the backyard patio, where we grilled, chilled, and marveled at every night's spectacular sunsets with mountain views. Another memory-making plus: boating and catch-and-release fishing in the private, man-made lake right in your own backyard. Highly recommended - we couldn't ask for better accommodations or hosts!

Sun and fun

Good location close to shopping, good neighborhood, good walking trails. Can walk to Rio Vista recreational center area. Nice little coffee shop there calledThe Sanctuary cafe. The pool was unheated but we still used it especially when ambient temp was in 80’s+ the teen boys got a lot of use of it. The small pontoon was slow You could go faster but i think the motor would overheat requiring use of the spare motor which required manual steering and operation. Owner stopped and he loved our dog. So this is very pet friendly with gated fenced yard. Only drawback was the price $$$$. Having a pet reduced the offerings available and our first booked VRBO was cancelled by owner. So we had to move quicker. Arizona quite dry and sun was hot. Bring lots of sunscreen and lotion.. owner was a great host, friendly, good sense of humor, responsive., not intrusive but we enjoyed the interaction.

A perfect place to stay

This is the perfect place to stay. Everything is nice, neat, and clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the cooking supplies that you need, and we enjoyed grilling by the pool in the evenings. It's a great place to fish (with fishing rods and tackle provided) and it's a nice treat to take the boat out for a ride, when you want to relax. The property owners were wonderful and attentive from the moment we contacted them, when we were interested in their place. Any need that we had, was met in every way. The house is in a great location with countless restaurants around. It is also a relatively close drive to Scottsdale, which we didn't hesitate to do whenever we wanted. The location is also perfect, if you're there for Spring Training, and a close driving distance to all of the surrounding ballparks. We highly recommend staying here, when in the area. You won't be disappointed.

Very Serene Place on A Man Made Lake

This is a very nice roomy place that is located on a man made lake. Being on the lake has a very calming and relaxing effect whether you are actually on the lake or sitting on the terrace enjoying a glass of wine. The kitchen is very spacious with any appliance that anyone would need to prepare any meal. The dining room table has room for eight people comfortably and is located a few steps from the kitchen. Also for more casual dining, the kitchen has a center island that can seat three people. On the terrace, there is a butane heater that can be used during outdoor dining on cooler days. If you like to fish, there are several rod and reels that can be used to catch and realease. We didn't fish but I wanted to mention this for anyone interested. Neal, the property owner lives close by and came over to the house when we checked in to brief us on the property. He is a most gracious host and wanted be sure that everything was ok and wanted to know if he could do anything to help. This property is located close to many shopping centers and golf courses. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave.

Awesome Sunsets

The West facing back deck, overlooking the lake, makes for incredible sunsets. Even better when you enjoy the sunsets in the middle of the lake on the electric boat. House was very comfortable and Neil and Arlene were great hosts. Tom & Christine Moore Jan/Feb 2020

Wonderful Vacation

We stayed a week and everything was great! Owners were wonderful and very accommodating. The pool was fantastic and the boat was fun to troll around the lake in the morning & sunset. The house also had everything we needed all week long! Thank you 😊
